MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings Barry Church Jersey , teams that fell one victory shy of the Super Bowl last season, will hold joint practices in August. The teams announced the venture Thursday. They will practice Aug. 15-16 together at Minnesota’s new, sprawling practice facility in the Twin Cities suburb of Eagan. They will play a preseason game Aug. 18.It will be Jacksonville’s third set of joint practices since coach Doug Marrone took over in 2017. The Jaguars practiced at New England and hosted Tampa Bay during training camp last year. The Jaguars and Vikings came up just short of the Super Bowl, which was played in Minneapolis. Jacksonville led the Patriots by 10 points in the fourth quarter before losing 24-20 in the AFC championship game. Minnesota lost 38-7 at eventual champion Philadelphia in the NFC title game, failing to become the first team to play a Super Bowl in its home stadium. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — So you want proof the NFL is an aerial circus? Try the second round of the draft. And some of the third.Of Friday night’s first 32 picks, 11 were defensive backs charged with holding down pass catchers, of which seven were chosen. Plus another seven offensive linemen charged with protecting the guys who throw the ball.Only one of those http://www.thejaguarslockerroom.com/authentic-ereck-flowers-jersey , Drew Lock of Missouri, was taken in Round 2, going to Denver 42nd overall after the Broncos traded up with Cincinnati to get Lock. Some projections had him going in the opening round.“Certainly. It certainly does,” Lock said when asked about being even more motivated to prove himself now that he slipped so far; the previous quarterback selected was Dwayne Haskins at 15th.“I know the kind of player I am. I know the kind of player I’m going to be. This adds a little chip to the shoulder bigger than the one that’s already on there.”Many players might have that outlook, thinking they belonged in the opening round. Such as tackle Jawaan Taylor of Florida and guard Cody Ford of Oklahoma, who were on hand for the draft and had to wait much longer than other prospects.“It was a little devastating,” Taylor said of being ignored Thursday before the Jaguars grabbed him. “I just have so much confidence in myself and I have high expectations for myself. I feel like I have something to prove … so I’m just looking forward to seeing what happens next.”As is Ford, who now belongs to Buffalo Womens Brad Nortman Jersey , which like Jacksonville traded up for the blocker.“I came back tonight because last night was a terrible disappointment,” Ford explained. I’ve worked so hard to walk across that stage, I didn’t want to leave and regret not being able to do that opportunity.”The defensive big guys dominated the opening round, then there was much more of a mix on Friday. Again, the SEC had the most picks with 13 in the second round, another six in the third, on top of the nine the previous night.“In the SEC, I had 35 career starts Dawuane Smoot Jersey ,” Taylor said. “I left a year early, but I feel like I was ready and prepared to play in the NFL because I played against a lot of great competition. Definitely playing at Florida, playing in such a great conference, prepared me for this role.”The second round began with cornerbacks Byron Murphy of Washington and Rock Ya-Sin of Temple going to Arizona and Indianapolis respectively.A bit later, that run continued with Central Michigan’s Sean Bunting, Clemson’s Trayvon Mullen, Vanderbilt’s JoeJuan Williams, LSU’s Greedy Williams — at one point considered the top defensive back in this crop — and Utah safety Marquise Blair. It didn’t subside until safety Juan Thornhill of Virginia went to the Chiefs on the penultimate selection in the second round. One spot later http://www.thejaguarslockerroom.com/authentic-andrew-norwell-jersey , Seattle moved up for Mississippi WR DK Metcalf, who was rated by some the best wideout in this group.Arizona finally pulled off the trade of QB Josh Rosen, expendable because the Cardinals took Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray to start proceedings on Thursday night. Miami sent the 62nd overall spot to the desert for Rosen, a first-rounder a year ago.The Cardinals opted for UMass receiver Andy Isabella with that pick.Other than Lock, the only quarterback chosen Friday was West Virginia’s highly productive Will Grier to Carolina at No. 100, two spots from the end of the night.Teams began branching out in the third round — the final four rounds will take place Saturday — with running backs getting some attention. But not too many: four, making for a measly six overall. Alabama’s Josh Jacobs went in the opening round, and teammate Damien Harris did so in the third. Penn State’s Miles Sanders was the only RB drafted in Round 2 Womens Abry Jones Jersey , by Philadelphia.Still available are North Carolina State quarterback Ryan Finley, and All-Americans tackle Mitch Hyatt of Clemson, guards Beau Benzschawel of Wisconsin and Bunchy Stallings of Kentucky, linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven of Washington, and safety Deionte Thompson of Alabama.

is a struggling defense http://www.thebearslockerroom.com/authentic-devin-hester-jersey , right?Allegedly, but would anyone really trust the Bears offense to be able to score on a pee-wee team right now?Every press conference with Mitch Trubisky and Matt Nagy is being broken down, overanalyzed and completely roasted.Things are not good in Bearsland. However, the Lions are coming to town and while they are ahead of the Bears in the official standings, it’s only just by a half a game and the Lions are in usual Lions shape. That is to say, they’re middling. They’re not awful, but they aren’t blowing teams away. Like the Bears, they’ve lost to the Raiders and Packers, but unlike Chicago they’ve defeated the Chargers and Eagles. So this might be a match up of even teams, at the least. Although, the Lions offense is light-years ahead of the Bears, but their defense is the side of the ball giving them trouble.Perhaps then it will be an even fight between a good defense vs. a good offense and a bad offense vs. a bad defense?Detroit LionsSB Nation site: Pride of DetroitRecord: 3-4-1 (third NFC North)Last week: 31-24 loss to RaidersBears all-time record against: 99-74-5Historical match ups: The Bears and Lions have met three times on Nov. 10, the date of Sunday’s match up, but have won only one of those previous three. On Nov. 10, 1985, also week 10, the Bears met the Lions at Soldier Field.Steve Fuller filled in for the injured Jim McMahon, threw 13 passes, hitting on just seven. Compared to 55 team rushing attempts (including five for Fuller). Both Walter Payton (26) and Matt Suhey (16) went over 100 yards, while Fuller ran in for two scores and Calvin Thomas rushed for another. The vicious defense sacked Lions quarterback Eric Hipple four times and the Bears won 17-3.Last meeting: On Thanksgiving Day, the Bears went up to Detroit on the shortest possible turnaround and, with their back up quarterback, beat the Lions 23-16.Eddie Jackson sealed the win with a pick 6 and the iconic Motown tribute celebration.Injury report: The Lions listed 13 players on their Wednesday injury report.Full participation: CB Darius Slay (hamstring), CB Amani Oruwariye (knee), TE Jesse James (back) Womens Danny Trevathan Jersey , DT Damon Harrison (groin), WR Danny Amendola (hand)Limited: QB Matthew Stafford (back/hip), DT A’Shawn Robinson (ankle), OL Graham Glasgow (back) and DT Mike Daniels (foot)Did not participate: DB Tracy Walker (knee), P Sam Martin (abdomen), DL Da’Shawn Hand (ankle), G Joe Dahl (ankle)Offense: The Lions come into the game ranked fifth in yards and 12th in points.Their passing offense is third in yards, while their rushing attack is 21st.Led by the veteran Matthew Stafford (64.3 cmp. pct./2,499 yds./19 TD/5 INT) is playing some of the best football of his career throwing to receivers Kenny Golladay (35 rec./640 yds./7 TD), Marvin Jones (42/535/6) and Danny Amendola (31/376/1).Rookie TE T.J. Hockenson (22/296/2) is also contributing.Since losing starting RB Kerryon Johnson, Ty Johnson (39 att./137 yds./0 TD) and J.D. Missic (20/140/0) have taken over duties.Defense: The Lions defense ranks 31st in yards allowed and 27th in points allowed.Their passing defense ranks 30th in yards allowed and their rushing defense ranks 27th in yards.Their top defenders are DE Trey Flowers (4 sacks/2 FF/4 TFL/8 QB hits), Damon Harrison (2 sacks/3 PD/2 TFL/2 QB hits), CB Darius Slay (1 INT/3 PD), CB Tracy Walker (1 INT/5 PD/5 TFL/56 tkls) and former Bear LB Christian Jones (39 tkls/2 sacks/1 FR/4 PD).Other defenders include Justin Coleman (1 INT/2 FF/1 FR), LB Jarrad Davis (2 FF/2 TFL/1 sack) and DT A’Shawn Robinson (0.5 sack/2 TFL/1 QB hit/2 FR). The Lions’ defensive coordinator, Paul Pasqualoni, was the defensive line coach in Chicago in 2014 under Mel Tucker. The Lions defense ranks 30th in third down defense, with opponents converting 48.1 percent of their attempts. What to watch for: Can the Bears defense get after Matt Stafford and force him into mistakes? There is a lot of big pass play potential on the Lions’ offense with Golladay, Jones and preseason Bear Marvin Hall (who is averaging 40 yards per catch!). The Lions have the ninth most passing attempts and pass on 56 percent of their plays, so they want to throw and throw often. Will this bad defense give the Bears a chance to get right? Or at least get things going? They’re allowing 6.1 yards per play to opponents and 4.7 yards per rush. They haven’t surrendered less than 370 yards to an opponent all season and haven’t allowed less than 20 points since week two.Key match ups: Kenny Golladay against the Bears secondary. Golladay is Stafford’s favorite big-play receiver and if the Bears can slow him down, it will get their passing game out of rhythm.Stafford has only been sacked 18 times, despite having the ninth-most passing attempts in the league, so the Bears pass rush has to get back on track and get after him. He will turn the ball over if he’s not comfortable in the pocket. Key stats: The Bears have surpassed 300 yards of offense just once this season, the Lions have held none of their opponents to fewer than 350 yards of offense. The Lions have allowed the most first downs in the league, 196 Cody Whitehair Jersey , while the Bears have just 139 on the season.Detroit can take the ball away, they have 12 takeaways as a defense, one more than the Bears have. The Lions rank 12th in yards per drive on offense, averaging 2.16 points per drive. Chicago is allowing 1.61 YPD, sixth best in the league.Lions opponents are scoring touchdowns on 60.6 percent of their red zone trips, the Bears offense is scoring on 57.1 percent.Stafford has thrown an interception in three straight games, but has only one multi-interception game this season, in their week 2 win over the Chargers. Last year two of his three multi-interception games came against Chicago. Can the Bears find the endzone against a nearly equally inept defense to their own offense? What do the Bears need to do to win? We’re going to predict the Chicago Bears 2019 record in each quarter of the season in this week’s WCG roundtable discussion! First up is the 1st Quarter..."With the NFL revealing their 2019 schedule last week, we had to get in on the much-too-early Chicago Bears predictions, but we wanted to break the schedule down into four easy to digest portions of prognostications. Former Bears head coach, Lovie Smith, used to like to break the schedule into four quarters — much like a football game — so we’re going to do the same thing here at WCG. And we’re also going to do it roundtable style to get more of our Bears experts involved in the process. After checking out what we have to say, we want you guys to follow our format and give us your predictions in the comment section. Here’s how the Bears first quarter of the season will go. 1st QuarterWeek 1: vs. Green Bay Packers, Thursday, Sept. 5, 7:20 p.m., NBCWeek 2: at Denver Broncos, Sunday, Sept. 15, 3:25 p.m., FOXWeek 3: at Washington Redskins, Monday, Sept. 23, 7:15 p.m., ESPNWeek 4: vs. Minnesota Vikings http://www.thebearslockerroom.com/authentic-jonathan-bullard-jersey , Sunday, Sept. 30, 3:25 p.m., CBS(All times Central)Lester A. Wiltfong Jr. - (4-0) We’ll learn about the 2019 Bears right away with tough match-ups against the rival Packers and a high altitude game in Denver, but I think the extra time to prep for the Broncos will give them the edge they need to buck history. Prime Time in Washington will be tough, but the Bears are the better team. The Vikings couldn’t beat the Bears when their playoff lives were on the line last year, so why would I think Kirk Cousins can do it in 2019. Erik Christopher Duerrwaechter - (4-0) Where the back-to-back road games may cause some discomfort, I don’t see any of these games being a real test early on. The Vic Fangio Revenge Game has a chance of being close. And, really, I’m ready to see the Bears annihilate the Packers in the season debut at home. Just gotta get my ticket to the game.Sam Householder - (3-1) The Bears can get off to a hot start with five winnable games but I’m not sure they can get through unblemished. The Broncos are an insane 21-1 at home in weeks one and two at home in their current stadium and 51-8-2 all-time. On the other side is Washington, who are 5-22 on Monday Night Football since 2000, including seven straight Monday night losses and a 2-15 record on MNF since 2008. The Vikings are likely to rebound from a down year last year, but by playing at home that game is still winnable for them. I have them dropping the week two match up against Vic Fangio (remember when Adam Gase knew how to attack Fangio’s D? I think Fangio will know how to slow Nagy’s offense).Ken Mitchell - (4-0) Green Bay will be struggling in getting both their offensive and defensive games lined out, and Chuck Pagano’s much more aggressive defense will eat “those people from Wisconsin” alive. I think Week 2 may be the hardest game of the season, because former coordinators know exactly how to attack their old teams and Fangio will make this one tough... still, Bears win. Washington’s a decent team but we should beat them, and color me somebody who has been unimpressed by Minnesota’s offseason.Aaron Leming - (3-1) As much as I want to give the Bears (4-0) through this stretch, Denver’s history at home through the first two games of the season is hard to deny. Add in the altitude aspect and I’m going to give them a loss there, just to play it “safe” There’s one or two of those games on the schedule where it feels like a loss and I can’t ignore that like I did last year with Miami.Robert Schmitz - (4-0) For as much hype as the matchup in Denver is getting, I don’t believe in Joe Flacco enough to predict a loss in this quarter. The season opener against Green Bay is as close to a lock as I can ask for (predominantly due to last year’s horror) and it’s Thursday night slot gives us a ridiculous amount of rest for the matchup against our former defensive coordinator. I don’t believe in either (Washington QB) Case Keenum or Cousins to compete with us, so those look like wins to me. Some wins may not be pretty (Week 2 and 3 come to mind) but I think the Bears are perfect to open the season.

Womens Junior Seau Jersey , Philip Rivers was quick to credit the guys on the receiving end of his pinpoint passes.Rivers tied the NFL mark for consecutive completions and broke records for the most to start a game and the highest completion percentage in a game as the Los Angeles Chargers dismantled the Arizona Cardinals 45-10 on Sunday.“There were some catches that could easily fall incomplete. There were a lot of guys involved in it,” Rivers said. The 15-year veteran was on target with his first 25 passes and finished 28 of 29 for 259 yards and three touchdowns in three quarters. It was also his 11th straight game with multiple TD passes.Rivers’ 25 straight completions tied Ryan Tannehill‘s mark from 2015. The Dolphins QB completed his last seven throws against the Tennessee Titans in on Oct. 18, 2015, and then his first 18 the following week against the Houston Texans.“There are far-off dreams where you wonder if you are going to have a game where you are never going to miss one and then you say, ‘Probably not.’ The fact that we were staying there in the fourth quarter says something,” Rivers said.Rivers came in having completed 67 percent of his throws this season, good for 13th in the league. Now he’s at 69.5 percent, which would tie his career best.Rivers — who said he did not know he was near Tannehill’s record — tied the mark for consecutive completions with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Keenan Allen midway through the third quarter. He had his only incompletion on the next possession when he was rushed and was unable to connect on a short pass to Austin Ekeler.Rivers did break Mark Brunell’s record for completions to start a game. Brunell had 22 straight for the Washington Redskins against the Houston Texans on Sept. 24, 2006. Rivers’ 96.8 percent accuracy surpassed Kurt Warner’s 92.3 percent, which was set in 2009 when he went 24 of 26 for Arizona against Jacksonville.“He was hot,” Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said. “Guys were getting open and making plays for him. There were some great catches out there today.”All three of Rivers’ touchdown passes were plays near the boundary where the receiver was able to bring the ball in while being covered. Mike Williams caught two in the corner of the end zone, and Allen’s was just inbounds while being draped by Arizona’s Tre Boston.“He makes everything easier for us as receivers Doug Flutie Jersey ,” Williams said. “Philip put the ball up for me to go make a play and I’m just going up and making it.”Of Rivers’ 28 completions — which went to seven players — eight came on screen passes behind the line of scrimmage. Five were in the air for 10 yards or more, including three that were 20 or more yards. The Cardinals (2-9) jumped out to a 10-0 lead with scores on their first two possessions before the Chargers (8-3) scored touchdowns on six of seven possessions. Los Angeles seized momentum with a 28-point second quarter.“We played a complete football game,” Lynn said. “It started off slow but we made adjustments and guys responded.”Rivers was 19 of 19 in the first half for 187 yards. According to SportRadar, the last perfect first half with 15 or more attempts was by Warren Moon, who went 16 of 16 for Seattle against Oakland on Nov. 1, 1998. He completed all 10 passes during a two-minute drill that culminated in Williams’ TD with 16 seconds remaining.Melvin Gordon, who came into the game sixth in the league in rushing, ran for two touchdowns in the second quarter before suffering a knee injury in the third. He finished with 61 yards on 10 carries.Austin Ekeler accounted for 103 yards from scrimmage (35 rushing, 68 receiving) and a touchdown.Arizona’s Josh Rosen, who grew up nearby in Manhattan Beach and played at UCLA, was 12 of 19 for 105 yards with a touchdown and interception. David Johnson had 17 carries for 63 yards. The Cardinals had 108 yards of offense in the first quarter but just 41 the rest of the game.“We talked about coming in here on the road, starting fast. I thought we did a great job of doing that http://www.thechargerslockerroom.com/authentic-trevor-williams-jersey , taking the first drive down and scoring, and from that point, the wheels just sort of fell off a little bit,” Cardinals coach Steve Wilks said.41 AND COUNTINGLarry Fitzgerald’s 25-yard touchdown from Rosen was his first career catch at StubHub Center, the 41st different stadium where Fitzgerald has a reception. He could extend that total when the Cardinals go to Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Dec. 16.BOSA BREAKS OUTDefensive end Joey Bosa, who returned last week after missing the first nine games with a bone bruise in his left foot, had two sacks and five tackles.“I felt more confident knowing I went through 31 plays last week,” said Bosa, who had the sixth multi-sack game of his three-year career. “It felt amazing to get a sack. It’s been too long between sacks. It was fun.”INJURIESCardinals: Linebacker Josh Bynes suffered a thumb injury during the second quarter. Wilks said the injury is not considered to be serious.Chargers: Gordon did not return after his knee injury. Lynn said he hopes to know more on Monday, adding: “Hopefully what happened is not serious. His durability has been pretty good this season.”UP NEXTCardinals: Travel to Green Bay next Sunday.Chargers: Travel to Pittsburgh next Sunday for a prime-time game. At this point, just focus on one year at a time and take it from there."Daniel Jeremiah Goes into Deep Detail on Bolts' Draft Class - Ricky HenneA perfect fit. That’s the general consensus around the league when the Bolts selected Adderley in the second round. The rangy Delaware ballhawk figures to be an ideal fit at free safety in Defensive Coordinator Gus Bradley’s system, and many pundits expected him to be a first round pick. In fact, Telesco acknowledged that if Adderley didn’t tweak his hamstring at his pro day, he likely wouldn’t have been around for the Bolts to nab him in the second round.Mega NFL projections: Likely Super Bowl LIV matchups, 2020 draft order, more - Hank Gargiulo & Seth WalderPass defense. The Chargers struggled in coverage and open-field tackling at times last season, particularly in the team's humbling playoff loss to the Patriots. On defense, the Chargers gave up nine passing plays of 15 yards or more against New England. The Bolts addressed that issue by adding athletic Brandon Mebane Jersey , veteran linebacker Thomas Davis in free agency, and using five of their seven draft picks on defensive players, including interior pass-rusher Jerry Tillery in the first round and rangy free safety Nasir Adderley in the second.Blake Camper could be diamond in the rough - Travis WakemanThe Chargers could use a swing tackle off the bench, but there is plenty to say that Camper may not be good enough to be that guy. For one, Tom Telesco usually likes versatile offensive linemen on his roster. Camper only made starts at right tackle in college. Two players are absent — Jalen Ramsey and Telvin Smith — and that doesn’t matter at all to anyone except the guy in charge of the entire franchise. You see, Tom Coughlin decided to use the majority of his time during Thursday’s State of the Franchise presentation to hammer home the point that all players participating in all team activities is a non-negotiable.“We’re close to 100 percent attendance and quite frankly all of our players should be here,” Coughlin said. There’s only one problem: The workouts that Jalen and Telvin are “skipping” are 100 percent voluntary. Cody Parkey Jersey , Ill. (AP)All Zach Miller knows is he’s not setting any limits on his recovery – and his doctors aren’t either.Whether the Chicago Bears‘ tight end can play again after a gruesome injury last season nearly cost him his left leg still is to be determined.”There has not been a definitive `You can never do this again,”’ Miller said.”That hasn’t been talked about. It’s approach this as you are planning to get back to where I can be myself and play football, and then when that time comes some of that is out of my hands. So, I’m just going to do as much as I can to get to that point and see what happens.”The Bears placed Miller on the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday, one day after he signed a one-year contract. The deal was at least a goodwill gesture for a popular player who dislocated his knee trying to make a touchdown catch during the Week 8 game at New Orleans. He has undergone nine surgeries since then, but was walking on his own by late December.Miller has been spending several hours a day at the team’s facility in rehab and meetings. Though he is not yet allowed to run, he can at least play with his children. He’s also wearing a brace on his leg to hold up a dropped foot that was brought on by nerve damage. The nerve started functioning again in the past month, and Miller ”wanted to have a party” that day.”I don’t think I’ve ever been mentally defeated – ever,” he said. ”I feel good. I’m happy with where I’m at and with my recovery. I’m happy with the steps that we’ve made. Positivity has been one of my qualities that’s helped get me through all this stuff. I’m in a good place right now.”He said being around the team http://www.thebearslockerroom.com/authentic-khalil-mack-jersey , having ”that brotherhood” and people who ”check in on me” helps.Miller also praised chairman George McCaskey and an organization that has ”taken care of me since Day 1.””It’s tough for me to put it into words what it means to me, but very thankful and just grateful to be a part of this family,” he added.Defensive end Akiem Hicks was glad to see the organization taking care of his teammate.”That’s what it said to me, that they’re willing to make sure that we’re all right and give us the opportunity to get better and just loyalty,” he said.Coach Matt Nagy called it ”without a doubt” the ”right thing to do.””I was happy for him,” Nagy said. ”We talked along with (general manager Ryan Pace) and it’s a good story and it needed to be done.”Miller signed a futures contract with the Bears at the end of the 2013 season. After spending 2014 on injured reserve, he started 28 of 33 games while making 101 receptions for 1,161 yards and 11 touchdowns the past three years. He also spent three seasons with Jacksonville.A healthy Miller probably would have a big role on a team that invested heavily on the offense in the offseason in order to get the most out of quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. The Bears hired an offensive-minded coach in Nagy to replace the fired John Fox and overhauled their receiving group, most notably signing Allen Robinson. They believe bigger things are in store after four straight last-place finishes in the NFC North. And Miller would love to play in Nagy’s offense.”That’s the bittersweet part of it Gale Sayers Jersey , seeing first of all how awesome Coach Nagy is, not only as a guy but his football knowledge is unbelievable,” Miller said.”Very cool, very collected, has a little bit of swagger to him, which is just fun to be around. Then you go to the football field and you look at the scheme that we have. It would be a lot of fun to be a part of. It’s not in the cards quite yet for me to take part in that.”But as I sit and I watch and I see the weapons that we have and what we’ve added, the dynamic ability that we have as a collective group, positive future here and I’m excited to be a part of it.”— Yeah, it happened."WhiteFanposts Fanshots Library FalcFans Podcast on The FalcoholicContact The FalcoholicFalcons StoriesScheduleRosterStatsYahoo Falcons NewsYahoo Falcons Team PageYahoo Falcons ReportYahoo Falcons Depth ChartYahoo Falcons TransactionsYahoo Falcons PhotosOdds About Masthead Community Guidelines StubHub ✕Did you know the Falcons used to sponsor Jerry Glanville’s NASCAR race car?New Womens Walter Payton Jersey ,7commentsYeah, it happened.ESTShareTweetShareShareDid you know the Falcons used to sponsor Jerry Glanville’s NASCAR race car?The Atlanta Falcons may have a “NASCAR” package on the field, but did you know that the Falcons had an actual NASCAR race car? More recent Falcons fans may never have heard of Jerry Glanville, the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 1990 to 1993. Coming off a 10-6 record in 1991, and a loss in the playoffs, Jerry Glanville decided he wanted to get into NASCAR racing as a driver.Following a meeting with the legendary driver Dale Earnhardt, and a test at Richmond International Raceway, Glanville got his chance. He drove a No. 56 Buick sponsored by the Atlanta Falcons, and began his racing career. His first attempt took place at Lanier Speedway in Gainesville http://www.thebearslockerroom.com/authentic-jim-mcmahon-jersey , GA on April 25, 1992, but he failed to qualify. Jerry would eventually make his first official start at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont NC, on June 6, 1992. Out of the 29 cars running that day, Glanville finished 22nd, following a crash on lap 211. Glanville’s next race was at Myrtle Beach Speedway, in which he finished 28th in a field of 29 cars, following another crash. Jerry Glanville’s final race in the No. 56 Atlanta Falcons Buick came at Volusia County Speedway in Barberville Tarik Cohen Jersey , Florida. Glanville went on to finish 20th, in a field of 23 cars, and only 9 laps off the pace.In 1993, Glanville started up his own team, Glanville Motorsports and the No. 81 Ford took the track. The team struggled, only qualifying for three races while missing two. After the 1993 NFL season, the Falcons fired Jerry Glanville. Although he would go on to eventually participate in more races, it was the end of the Atlanta Falcons in NASCAR.

http://www.thechargerslockerroom.com/authentic-melvin-gordon-jersey , so of course it went down to the wire. Both teams entered today’s game 1-1, with one thrilling last-minute win and one heartbreaking last-minute loss each. And so when they met again today, no one could be surprised that it went down to the final minute, with a Philip Rivers fourth-down pass falling incomplete deep in Texans’ territory with 11 seconds left, sealing a 27-20 win for the Texans.Houston quarterback Deshaun Watson was excellent, completing 25 of 34 passes for 351 yards, with three touchdowns and no interceptions, and he was only sacked twice after taking 10 sacks in the first two games of the season. Watson is playing great football.Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers was good Philip Rivers Jersey , too, but really only when targeting wide receiver Keenan Allen, who had an amazing game. When Rivers targeted Allen, he went 13-for-17 for 183 yards and two touchdowns. When Rivers targeted all other Chargers, he went 18-for-29 for 135 yards and no touchdowns. It was a back-and-forth game that saw the Chargers take an early lead but the Texans take control in the second half and then withstand a furious Chargers comeback attempt. The Texans’ last defensive stand was a fantastic finish, just as both of these teams have grown accustomed to.The win makes the Texans 2-1, and they appear to be the class of the AFC South. At 1-2, the Chargers are going to have an awfully tough time catching the Chiefs in the AFC West. There are more teams with reasonable needs for a first-round quarterback this year than there are first-round quarterbacks Womens Kellen Winslow Jersey , so it stands to reason those guys will be busy.According to Alex Schiffer of the , Missouri quarterback Drew Lock met with the Dolphins last night for dinner and a private visit, and has a meeting with the Giants tonight after his Pro Day workout today. The Dolphins, picking 13th, signed Ryan Fitzpatrick but have an obvious need for a future starter, whether he arrives this year or next. The Giants, who own the sixth and 17th picks (via Cleveland), are going to try to milk another year out of Eli Manning http://www.thechargerslockerroom.com/authentic-lance-alworth-jersey , but have the same need whether they realize it or not.Lock has already met with the Broncos (who pick 10th), and will likely have even more travel in his future as the next five weeks go on. According to Steve Wyche of NFL Network, Lock also said he has meetings scheduled with those three teams, along with Washington, the Chargers, and Lions.

and quarterback Nick Foles already progressing to the point at which the final decision rests in the hands of the team Womens Tommy McDonald Jersey , the player needs to take full advantage of his leverage. And he has plenty. With the Eagles apparently hoping to tag and trade Foles, Foles and his representatives should be prepared to counter any attempt to block his path to the open market, either by persuading the Eagles not to do it or by challenging the effort, or both.First, Foles should take the position that, if the Eagles apply the franchise tag, he’ll immediately accept it, putting him under contract for 2019 at roughly $25 million, fully guaranteed. That’s cash and cap dollars that will apply to Foles on the Eagles’ books, unless and until Foles is traded. Foles also should make it clear that he won’t be signing a long-term deal, with the Eagles or anyone else. That would make it much harder to trade him, since his new team would be stepping into a Kirk Cousins-style conundrum, which would entail Foles costing $25 million for 2019 and Jerome Brown Jersey , if tagged again, $30 million for 2020.That could be enough to scare away any team that believes it will parlay a trade for Foles into a long-term deal, especially if the team wants to pay less than $55 million over the first two years. In turn, that could persuade the Eagles not to tag Foles in the first place.Second, Foles and his agents should challenge the franchise tag, if it’s applied. Article聽4, Section 8, subsection (b) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement states as follows: 鈥淎 Club extending a Required Tender must, for so long as that Tender is extended, have a good faith intention to employ the player receiving the Tender at the Tender compensation level during the upcoming season.鈥?If the Eagles would simply be tagging Foles to trade him, Foles should invoke this provision and fight the tag, via an expedited grievance that would be resolved before the start of free agency. What could the Eagles say in response? Whatever it is, Foles should force them to try to come up with something other than what their strategy for the tag would apparently be: A placeholder aimed at getting the Eagles a draft pick now instead of a compensatory pick later. If the Eagles attempt with the straight face to argue that this isn’t the plan http://www.eagleslockerroom.com/authentic-seth-joyner-jersey , Foles should use this ESPN report as the starting point for a scorched-earth effort to review text messages and emails to determine whether and to what extent the Eagles have spoken to other teams about a tag and trade.Yes, the Eagles have the right under the rules to tag Foles. But unless they truly intend to employ Foles at the amount of the tag for 2019, they’re abusing the rules. Is that how the Eagles should be showing gratitude to the quarterback who delivered the team’s only Super Bowl championship? That’s a question Foles and his agents should be asking now, as the Eagles finalize their strategy. With so many people seemingly accepting the idea that the Eagles have every right to tag and trade Foles, the sooner Foles and his agents make sure everyone realizes that: (1) the strategy isn’t appropriate; and (2) Foles will fight it, the more likely the Eagles will possibly decide to do the right thing and let Foles hit the open market. Players report to the NovaCare Complex on Wednesday, July 24. As we count down the days together, Bleeding Green Nation will be previewing every position on the Eagles roster. We continue today by taking a look at the defensive tackle position. Previously: Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | Offensive line | Defensive end.<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="IGF8Ts">The playersFLETCHER COXCox ultimately fell short of his stated Defensive Player of the Year goal for 2018 but he still had one hell of a season. Cox finished last year with a career high 10.5 sacks. He was named first-team All Pro for the first time in his career and he notched his fourth career Pro Bowl honor as well. So, how will the 28-year-old follow that up in 2019?He’ll have to get on the field first. Cox is still recovering from a foot injury he suffered during the Eagles’ playoff loss to the Saints. Cox missed all of spring drills and it’s unclear exactly when he’ll be healthy, though the expectation is that he’ll be ready for Week 1. Whether he’s 100% or not, the Eagles need to do a better job of managing Cox’s snap count this season. He played 926 snaps last year. Contrast that figure with totals of 783 in 2017 and 772 in 2016. Of course, the Eagles basically HAD to use Cox a ton in 2018 because a number of their other defensive tackles were injured and/or ineffective. Things should be different this year Womens Jason Peters Jersey , though. The Eagles are looking much deeper on the interior defensive line. It’d be ideal if the Eagles could get back to their 2017 rotation where they try to keep Cox relatively fresh so he’s not spent by the time the playoffs roll around. In any case, Cox should continue to be an absolute beast for the Eagles.MALIK JACKSONJackson was the Eagles’ most expensive offseason acquisition; Philadelphia signed the 29-year-old to a three-year deal worth $30 million ($17 million guaranteed). The Eagles are really counting on Jackson to bounce back following a season where he was benched by the Jaguars for poor run defense. The Eagles are seemingly willing to overlook any run defense deficiencies since Jackson offers juice as a pass rusher. The thought of him lining up next to Cox is really intriguing. Cox is going to draw extra attention and Jackson should be able to take advantage. That is, assuming Jackson isn’t just washed up. He knows he has a lot to prove in 2019.Another thing to consider with Jackson is that he could take some defensive end snaps. The 6-5, 290 pound Jackson has experience playing as a 4-3 edge rusher. TIMMY JERNIGANIt’s crazy that Jernigan is now a BACKUP on this team. He was a pretty good starter for the Eagles in 2017. Jernigan only managed to play 45 total snaps last year after almost suffering a career-ending back injury. Jernigan is seemingly healthy now; he didn’t miss any reps during spring practice. The trio of Cox, Jackson, and Jernigan looks real strong on paper. All three interior defenders have pass rush ability. Cox and Jernigan are also dependable against the run as well. TREYVON HESTERHester should always be remembered for his playoff heroics in the Eagles’ 2019 Wild Card win over the Bears. He got just enough of his hand on Cody Parkey’s field goal attempt to lead to the unforgettable double doink.Even putting the magnitude of that play aside, Hester was a solid in-season pickup for Philly last year. Pro Football Focus actually had him graded 13th out of 129 interior defenders, which ... what? PFF had him graded out especially high as a run defender.Hester should be a nice fourth defensive tackle to have behind the Eagles’ main trio. He deserves some rotational playing time, assuming he earns his roster spot. HASSAN RIDGEWAYThe Eagles traded the No. 246 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft to the Colts in exchange for Ridgeway. Indianapolis originally selected him with a fourth-round selection back in 2016 so 2019 will be the final year of his rookie contract. Ridgeway isn’t a lock to make the Eagles’ roster but he will compete for a fourth or fifth defensive tackle spot. Jim Schwartz did praise Ridgeway in the spring, if that means anything. BRUCE HECTORHector spent his rookie season bouncing between the 53-man roster and the practice squad. He might spend the 2019 season on the latter. KEVIN WILKINSThe undrafted rookie free agent from Rutgers is likely a camp body. ANTHONY RUSHRush reportedly received the fourth lowest amount of guaranteed money among the Eagles’ UDFA signings. How will it play out?The Eagles employed a heavy defensive tackle rotation back when they could afford to do so in 2017. Snap count percentages:I think the Eagles will be looking to get back to this setup in 2019. Cox, Jackson, and Jernigan should all see significant playing time. Either Hester or Ridgeway will end up as the fourth defensive tackle and their playing time will resemble Vaeao’s count above. The Eagles have some question marks at defensive end but their defensive tackle position is shaping up really nicely. Philadelphia should be able to generate a lot of interior disruption in 2019 if Jackson can bounce back and Jernigan can stay healthy.Who could be a surprise cut?No real shockers here but it’d be at least a little surprising to see Hester and/or Ridgeway get cut. Hester was a playoff hero! And the Eagles gave up a pick (albeit a late seventh-rounder) to get Ridgeway back in April.

in the books this NFL season Mike Williams Jersey , and the Chargers are only one game away from matching last year’s loss total in what appeared to be the most forgiving stretch of the schedule. After a 12-4 finish and second round exit last year, the Chargers retained the vast majority of players who made the team successful while addressing two of the largest needs in the first two rounds of the draft with Jerry Tillery and Nasir Adderley, leading many to assume the success would be built on, or at least repeated as far as the regular season is concerned. The Chargers enter week 6 in what is essentially a must win game at 2-3. Could a turn around possibly be as simple as a change in philosophy for the offense? Of course, the game plan within that philosophy gets infinitely more complicated, and the defense has a whole other set of problems to solve, but on the surface level an adjustment to the strategy could pay huge dividends. Philip Rivers is just a couple months shy of 38 years old http://www.thechargerslockerroom.com/authentic-darius-philon-jersey , and he’s on pace to throw for the second most passing attempts in his career. A pace that’s also good for half a dozen throws a game more than he’s had in any of his best seasons. Losing inflates passing attempts, but through five games the Chargers have been competitive till the end in every one, and still Philip Rivers is throwing the ball more than he did during the 5-11 season in 2016 as well as the year his running backs were Branden Oliver and Donald Brown almost all year. None of this paragraph should be true with this team.USA Today SportsThe Chargers roster, even in it’s current, almost impossibly injury-depleted state features an embarrassment of riches at the running back position, and it’s being under utilized at the moment. All Austin Ekeler has done in the absence of Melvin Gordon is look as dynamic as any back in the world not named Christian McCaffrey. He’s 4th in the league in yards from scrimmage and tied for 3rd in total touchdowns to this point after leading the league alone with 6 touchdowns after week 4, prior to Gordon’s return. Justin Jackson is having a strong follow up to his rookie campaign Womens Adrian Phillips Jersey , sitting at a remarkable 7.9 yards per carry average on 18 carries, even with multiple long touchdowns being erased due to questionable holding penalties. The third most effective running back on the roster at the moment looks like Melvin Gordon, a player who while many have divided opinions on, convinced the vast majority last year that he’s at least an above average starter. The Chargers offensive line has seemingly had infinitely more success opening lanes for the running backs not named Melvin Gordon than they have trying to keep Rivers clean this season. The Chargers receiving corps behind Keenan Allen leaves Travis Benjamin, a receiver who was once inconsistent but now is regularly counted on to not show up, and Mike Williams, who while productive yet again this year is a name that hasn’t left the injury report since week 1.After Dontrelle Inman was placed on IR that leaves Andre Patton next in line as the fourth wide receiver. Hunter Henry Drew Kaser Jersey , the team’s lead tight end who has been rehabbing an injury sustained in the opener, is waiting to join the other tight ends; Virgil Green who has battled a groin injury the past couple weeks as well as Lance Kendricks, signed to vill the 3rd tight end role after Sean Culkin tore his achilles after a reception. The wide receivers and tight ends currently look like they have vulnerable depth at least until Henry is back and receiving his normal work load. The offensive line is drastically better at run blocking up to this point. Philip Rivers is never at his best when he’s asked to throw the ball 40 times every week, and there is absolutely no reason he should when he has more talent than he’s had in the backfield since a guy named LaDainian Tomlinson was running circles around the NFL.Every position group on offense would be aided by seeing an added focus to the run game, and really just getting those running backs on the field. This approach by the Colts just held the Chiefs to 13 points last week, their lowest in the last 28 games. If the Chargers can rattle off some wins with this strategy and keep up in the division race, the Chargers somehow may just match up well in the head to head games with Kansas City as long as Derwin James and Nasir Adderley are manning the safety positions at that time. The turn around has to begin immediately for those games to be meaningful http://www.thechargerslockerroom.com/authentic-hunter-henry-jersey , but an incredible redemption story could be in the near future if the coaches can make some adjustments. The Chargers have opened the door to tight end Hunter Henry returning to the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Ravens, but there’s been no official call at this point.Henry has been practicing with the team, but remains on the physically unable to perform list and the team would need to make a roster move to activate him for Sunday. Head coach Anthony Lynn said that call will be made on Saturday and that Henry would be playing a limited role if the team does put him on the field.“He’ll definitely be on a pitch count,” Lynn said, via Gilbert Manzano of the .Because Henry is not on the 53-man roster, he did not receive an injury designation on the team’s final injury report of the week. The Chargers ruled out linebacker Jatavis Brown (ankle) and listed defensive tackle Brandon Mebane as doubtful to play as he continues to deal with his daughter’s illness. Running back Austin Ekeler is listed as questionable with a groin injury.

Buccaneers We keep hearing about how elite the “Sacksonville” defense is and how they can carry what is by all regards a fairly average offense deep into the playoffs http://www.thejaguarslockerroom.com/authentic-tanner-lee-jersey , so I wanted to travel back into the annals of history and compare their personnel to some of the legendary NFL defenses of yesteryear. This is the second of a four-part installment that I will be doing across the month of September, and this episode mirrors the 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense. Last week, we covered the 2002 Baltimore Ravens. Below you’ll find 11 head-to-head match ups where I include each player’s statistics at the same point in their career to illustrate how our young players are tracking against some all-time greats. LDE | Calais Campbell vs. Greg SpiresSTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (5 SEASONS): Campbell: 27.5 sacks; 200 tackles; 4 forced fumbles; 2 fumbles recoveredSpires: 17.0 sacks; 85 tackles; 6 forced fumbles; 3 fumbles recoveredSomewhat of a journeyman, Spires was already on his third NFL team despite being a third round pick in the 1998 draft by the New England Patriots. Spires was never a dominant defensive end, but was a valuable role player who could help set the edge against the run and had the benefit of Warren Sapp and Booger McFarland taking double teams inside. Spires only had 3.5 regular season sacks at left defensive end before adding another pair in the playoffs, and you have to think Calais will soundly eclipse this number in 2018. This battle soundly goes to the Mayor of Duval.Advantage: Calais CampbellLDT | Marcell Dareus vs. Anthony “Booger” McFarlandSTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (4 SEASONS): Dareus: 28.5 sacks; 139 tackles; 2 forced fumbles; 2 fumbles recoveredMcFarland: 12.5 sacks; 77 tackles; 1 forced fumble; 1 fumble recovered Now famous for his Monday Night Football gig where he hovers over the field in the Snot Rocket, Booger McFarland was a very valuable nose tackle who allowed Warren Sapp to be the dominant player he was. McFarland only contributed 1.5 sacks in ten games during the 2002 season, but make no mistake about it, his presence as a run stuffer wasn’t reflected in the stat sheet. McFarland missed the first four games of the 2002 season with a broken forearm and then missed the playoffs with a broken right foot against the Detroit Lions, allowing Chartric Darby to get the start. Because of the injury and Dareus having two Pro Bowls under his belt by his fifth season, Dareus gets the nod.Advantage: Marcell DareusRDT | Malik Jackson vs. Warren SappSTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (6 SEASONS): Jackson: 29.0 sacks; 167 tackles; 6 forced fumbles; 3 fumbles recoveredSapp: 58.5 sacks; 203 tackles; 12 forced fumbles; 6 fumbles recoveredSapp was Aaron Donald before Aaron Donald, and the seven-time Pro Bowler and four-time first team All Pro was the engine of the defensive line for the Bucs. Malik Jackson may arguably be a top five three-technique this season in the NFL, but Hall of Famer Warren Sapp he is not.Advantage: Warren Sapp RDE | Yannick Ngakoue vs. Simeon RiceSTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (2 SEASONS): Ngakoue: 20.0 sacks; 44 tackles; 10 forced fumbles; 4 fumbles recoveredRice: 17.5 sacks; 75 tackles; 2 forced fumbles; 1 fumble recoveredAs much as we love Yannick in Duval, it’s too early in his career to give him the point in this match up against a borderline Hall of Fame player in Simeon Rice. A third overall pick for the Arizona Cardinals in the 2016 draft, Rice had eight NFL seasons with double-digit sacks and his 122 career sacks puts him at number 20 all-time. Jaguars fans should be highly encouraged about Yannick’s lead in the two year stat snapshot, but he has a tall task ahead of him this season to match Rice’s 15.5 sacks in 2002, which earned him first-team All Pro honors and a Super Bowl ring.Advantage: Simeon RiceSLB | Leon Jacobs vs. Alshermond SingletonSTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (N/A):The strong side linebacker spot will be a consistent question mark in this series with Leon Jacobs playing as a true rookie, but Singleton had a solid ten year NFL career and racked up over 200 tackles Womens Landry Jones Jersey , mainly as a special teamer. In 2002, Singleton had 43 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and an interception if you want to establish a baseline for Jacobs this season at the SAM spot. Advantage: Alshermond Singleton?MLB | Myles Jack vs. Shelton QuarlesSTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (2 SEASONS): Jack: 82 tackles; 2.5 sacks; 0 forced fumbles; 2 fumbles recovered; 0 interceptionsQuarles: 10 tackles; 1.0 sack; 0 forced fumbles; 2 fumbles recovered; 0 interceptionsConsidering Quarles did not even earn his first NFL start until his third year, Myles Jack is already light years ahead of the former Vanderbilt linebacker. Quarles had a Pro Bowl year in 2002, compiling 74 tackles and two interceptions next to Derrick Brooks, but Jack already has a head start with 10 tackles and a house call in his first game as the full-time middle linebacker this season.Advantage: Myles JackWLB | Telvin Smith vs. Derrick BrooksSTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (4 SEASONS): Smith: 345 tackles; 6.5 sacks; 4 forced fumbles; 5 fumbles recovered; 7 interceptionsBrooks: 377 tackles; 2.5 sacks; 6 forced fumbles, 1 fumbles recovered, 4 interceptionsNole on Nole crime! We know Telvin Smith is married to the game, but he’s not married to the Hall of Fame as Derrick Brooks is. While this a no brainer at this point in time, the snap shot comparison between Brooks and the best Florida State weak side linebacker in the NFL since Brooks is鈥?interesting.Advantage: Derrick BrooksCB | Jalen Ramsey vs. Ronde BarberSTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (2 SEASONS): Ramsey: 6 interceptions; 31 pass break ups; 107 tacklesBarber: 2 interceptions; 0 pass break ups; 63 tacklesBarber was a third round draft pick but only played one game as a rookie in 1997. In 2002, Barber had three sacks and two interceptions during the regular season, and if Ramsey doesn’t dismantle those numbers this year, it will be a major disappointment by his standards. If Ramsey is already this good at age 23, imagine where he will be at 27, which is the year Ronde won his ring. I’ll probably catch a lot of flack here from Bucs fans due to the long, steady body of work for Barber, but I stand with our king and they can go argue with their pirate hats.Advantage: Jalen RamseyCB | A.J. Bouye vs. Brian KellySTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (5 SEASONS): Bouye: 12 interceptions; 50 pass break ups; 169 tacklesKelly: 11 interceptions; 25 pass break ups; 201 tacklesBrian Kelly was a very solid cornerback and I vividly remember his eight-interception 2002 season. Kelly was critical for the Bucs due to the fact that teams were constantly throwing his way to try and avoid Ronde Barber. Kelly did not register his first pass deflection until his fourth season (despite oddly having one interception in each of his first three seasons) Donte Moncrief Jersey , but added 21 pass break ups during the Bucs Super Bowl run. Bouye might not match eight interceptions this season, but he may not have to with the other players in this secondary picking up the slack. The match up is very close, but Bouye has one more Pro Bowl than Kelly, so A.J. gets the point.Advantage: A.J. BouyeSS | Barry Church vs. John LynchSTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (8 SEASONS): Church: 9 interceptions; 415 tackles; 1.5 sacks; 8 forced fumbles Lynch: 15 interceptions; 388 tackles; 4.5 sacks; 6 forced fumblesLike Sapp and Brooks, Lynch is a Hall of Famer and so badly beats Church in this match up that they should almost be awarded a second point. The fifteen-year veteran and nine-time Pro Bowler finished with 26 interceptions and over 700 tackles, so Church would have to play another eight years to come close to that type of production.Advantage: John LynchFS | Tashaun Gipson vs. Dexter JacksonSTAT SNAPSHOT COMPARISON (6 SEASONS): Gipson: 19 interceptions; 243 tackles; 0 sacks; 1 forced fumbleJackson: 13 interceptions; 219 tackles; 2.5 sacks; 4 forced fumblesTo be quite frank, Gipson and Jackson are very similar ball hawking free safeties with fairly close numbers after six seasons. If Gipson can end up becoming the Super Bowl MVP with two game-clinching interceptions in Atlanta, I will give him the edge, but until that happens, Jackson gets the point. Advantage: Dexter JacksonFinal Score: Bucs 6 Jaguars 5The Bucs were truly a formidable defense with Hall of Fame players at each level in Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks, and John Lynch. Add in some very good players who had remarkable seasons in Simeon Rice (15.5 sacks), Brian Kelly (eight interceptions) and Dexter Jackson (Super Bowl MVP), and it’s difficult to make an argument that the Jaguars have a better unit. Even Ronde Barber is a Hall of Fame semifinalist, despite that position battle going to Ramsey for the purposes of this article.Statistically, the 2002 Bucs pass defense may have been the greatest to ever grace the gridiron, and their 155 passing yards per game allowed, 10 passing touchdowns allowed http://www.thejaguarslockerroom.com/authentic-a.j.-bouye-jersey , and 131 first downs allowed are all benchmarks that will be difficult to exceed. To put it in perspective, the 2017 Jaguars allowed 169.9 passing yards per game, 17 passing touchdowns allowed, and 143 first downs allowed. If the Jags can turn it up just a bit this year, they can get close to hanging with the 2002 Bucs, but they are already a little behind after allowing 210 yards to Eli Manning in week one.Stay tuned for next week’s edition of the All Time Greats when we compare the Jags to the 2013 Seahawks. The Jacksonville Jaguars are back in training camp mode after consecutive lopsided losses.Coach Doug Marrone said Wednesday they will spend the week trying "to correct a lot of bad football that we have been playing."The Jaguars (3-3) have been outscored 70-21 in road losses to Kansas City and Dallas , failing to score in the first half of both games and allowing a combined 802 yards and 49 first downs.Marrone deflected questions about AFC South rival Houston (3-3), which plays in Jacksonville on Sunday, and said he's more focused on football fundamentals."It doesn't matter who the hell you are playing," Marrone said. "You have to get your ship right. You have to get your stuff in house right."Jacksonville looked lost on both sides of the ball against the Chiefs and Cowboys. The usually stout defense got gouged on the ground and picked apart by big plays. The offense was even worse, with Blake Bortles turning the ball over six times and getting sacked eight times. The injury-riddled offensive line was the main issue again. Receivers also failed to create separation and get open, and running back Leonard Fournette missed his fourth game with a strained right hamstring. The Jaguars are now down their top two left tackles, their top two tight ends, two of their top three running backs and their No. 1 receiver. Those injuries have forced the team to sign three guys off practice squads and five off the street."We can't use that as an excuse," Marrone said. "We have to go out there and find things that they can do well and we have to do that in a short period of time to be able to go out there and perform well enough or execute well enough to do it."Marrone shouldered much of the blame for his team's most recent performances and insisted things would change against the Texans, who won six in a row in the series until getting swept in 2017.The message that flashed on television screens around the facility read "humility is not thinking less of yourself. It's thinking of yourself less." A more rare sight: at least six assistant coaches roamed the locker room during lunchtime to mingle with player. The biggest difference came on the practice field."There was no other choice but to work hard today," linebacker Myles Jack said. "They got the most out of us. It was like a camp practice. Camp is basically about fundamentals, Day 1 teaching Womens Leonard Fournette Jersey , so I think that was the common mindset: let's reset, let's go back to square one."Not everyone thought significant changes were needed.Linebacker Telvin Smith stood firm on his belief that everything is fine on the field and inside the locker room."This whole week is tough because a lot of people see us right now and they see you lose two games and then they go crazy," he said. "And that's understandable. It's what y'all are supposed to do, but don't place that on me. We good."We're 3-3. To me, that's still good in the league. It's not like we're 0-6 or 1-5 or something. We battled. We came out the second quarter (of the season) and didn't start off right, didn't get the job done. But I think we're going to be fine."Nothing about Jacksonville's direction will truly be known until Sunday afternoon, after three camp-like practices in sweltering, 90-degree heat.Marrone's team meeting Wednesday highlighted all the possible directions and included anecdotes from his past at the college level and in the three previous NFL stops."Is it something that we need to hear?" safety Tashaun Gipson said. "I think that was already understood. I would hope that we have the guys in here to understand that coach didn't need to come in there and say that because we should have enough mature guys in this locker room to understand that we've got to get this thing right. ..."You can do whatever you need to do on Wednesday and Thursday and Friday, but if you come out on Sunday and play like we did the last two weeks, specifically defensively, it doesn't matter what we do on Wednesday and Thursday and Friday, it doesn't matter what Coach Marrone says, we've got to go out there and play the game."

until the third round this year Gale Sayers Jersey , it’ll be challenging for us to find mock drafts for us to mock this offseason. But the USA Today’s Draft Wire dropped a full seven-rounder earlier this week that we wanted to spotlight for you guys. With the Bears having most of their starters under contract, this draft could be even more best-player-available than in recent years. Besides kicker, there isn’t one glaring hole on the roster, and that’s a testament to general manager Ryan Pace for the rebuild. Pace has found starters in the later rounds through the years, so we know him and his scouts can thrive on day three. Let’s take a look at how the Editor of the Draft Wire, Luke Easterling, has the Bears drafting in the 2019 NFL Draft. Third round 87th overall - Max Scharping, OT, Northern IllinoisA four year starter at NIU has player left tackle, righttackle, and some right guard, and at 6’6”, 320 pounds he definitely looks the part of an NFL offensive tackle. He has excelled as a pass blocker in the MAC, but the NFL is a significant step up. He has the length and the technique to play tackle as a pro Womens Walter Payton Jersey , but it’ll be his foot speed that ultimately determines his position at the next level. Our friends over at Gang Green Nation profiled him in November right here. Fourth round 119th overall - Kendall Sheffield, CB, Ohio StateSheffield, who also stars on the Buckeyes’ track team, may get overdrafted because of his blazing speed and quickness. If he makes it to the third day he would be a good prospect to play nickleback for the Bears. I’d expect his combine 40 time to be the talk of Indy and I think he’ll check in at about 5’11”.Fifth round 151st overall - Elijah Holyfield, RB, GeorgiaWith only 7 receptions in his collegiate career, Holyfield hasn’t shown the type of hands that would make him a fit in Matt Nagy’s offense. His pro day will likely feature him getting a lot of work out of the backfield to see if the lack of receptions was just a product of the offense. He probably would have benefited from another year in school, but after a thousand yard season and averaging 6.4 yards per carry, he felt he was ready. Seventh round 214the overall - Trace McSorley, QB, Penn StateI expect the Bears to get a rookie quarterback in camp somehow, and if there’s one they really like, getting him with a pick instead of chancing him falling to the undrafted free agent poll would be wise. As a three year starter he threw 77 touchdowns to 25 interceptions http://www.thebearslockerroom.com/authentic-jim-mcmahon-jersey , while just coming in under 10,000 yards passing for his career, but he did just as much damage as a runner with 798 yards rushing and 12 TDS as a senior. Check out Easterling’s mock draft and let us know if this is how you’d draft if you were making the picks for the Bears. Some of those decisions will be easy, while others could prove to be exceedingly difficult for a variety of reasons. Either way, they have to make all of these decisions between February 4th and the beginning of free agency on March 13th.As it stands right now, Los Angeles has 15 players set to become unrestricted free agents at 4pm EST on March 13th. There are some big names and key contributors on this list, a few depth pieces, and a handful of expendable players who are likely to be cut loose. This is the third installment of my offseason plan series, in which I will cover all of the offseason moves I would make leading up to the draft. We already discussed the cuts, restructures and extensions I would pursue, as well as the team’s restricted and exclusive rights free agents, so let’s dive into the six unrestricted free agents I expect the team to re-sign this offseason. We’ll talk about the season they had in 2018, what I expect the team to do, and what their contracts will look like.Let’s get started…Adrian PhillipsAdrian Phillips was the Chargers most improved player, if not the most improved player in the NFL in 2018. The fifth-year defender led the NFL in special teams tackles (19) while finishing among the Bolts’ top five defenders in solo tackles (77), assists (29), total tackles (94), and passes defensed (10). Adrian also earned first team All Pro, Pro Bowl and Professional Football Writers of America All-NFL Team honors for his work on special teams. Needless to say, he’s going to get paid.If any of the Los Angeles free agents are a lock to be re-signed this offseason, it’s probably Adrian Phillips. Adrian is the definition of a homegrown player in the NFL, having worked his way up from being an undrafted free agent to an All Pro over the last five years. I would expect Jahleel Addae’s four-year http://www.thechargerslockerroom.com/authentic-derwin-james-jersey , $22,500,000 contract to set the (extreme) floor, while Adrian’s representatives will shoot for something more along the lines of Darian Stewart’s four year, $28,000,000 contract. They’ll settle somewhere in the middle.Projected Market Value: 4 years, $26,500,000 with $8.5M in guaranteesOdds of being retained: 80/20Darius PhilonDarius Philon led the Chargers interior defensive linemen in sacks (4) and tackles for loss (9). He also finished second among defensive tackles in assists, solo tackles and total tackles. Philon was their most consistent interior defender and seems primed to excel in an expanded role next season. It’s hard to imagine the front office not bringing Darius back considering the turnover they’re likely to experience at the position this offseason. While productive, and certainly trending in the right direction in his career, Darius probably won’t command a ton of money. With that in mind, I expect the team to use Damion Square’s two-year, $4,000,000 contract as a baseline. Taking Darius’ large role and the NFL’s ever-growing salary cap into account, I think #93 gets an extra year and an additional $1,000,000 per year.Projected Market Value: 3 years, $9,000,000 with $2.25M in guaranteesOdds of being re-signed: 65/35*I’d feel better about Darius being retained if the team hadn’t scaled back his snaps down the stretch.Damion SquareAfter replacing Isaac Rochell as the starting base end in week five, Damion Square did much of the dirty work against the run and provided invaluable interior pressure in passing situations. While the stat line may not stand out much (31 tackles, 3 sacks, 4 tackles for loss, 3 passes defensed), his effort and energy played a key role in the transformation of the Chargers defense over the final 12 games of the 2018 season and, I suspect, earned him a couple more years with the team. The team loves Square, and rightfully so. He is a true team player, playing key minutes at both defensive tackle positions and Joey Bosa’s base end spot. My guess is the Chargers will offer Damion a deal that closely resembles his most recent contract Womens Antonio Gates Jersey , adding a slight pay increase and throwing a nice guarantee his way.Projected Market Value: 2 years, $5,500,000, $1,750,000 guaranteedOdds of re-signing: 70/30Kyle EmanuelKyle Emanuel posted 30 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a defensive touchdown while appearing in all 16 games in 2018. He is widely considered the team’s best edge-setter (debatable) and a core special teams player, but he is also a liability in coverage and offers next to nothing as a pass rusher. The team also inexplicably thinks he’s a suitable backup at the MIKE and WILL linebacker positions. This is something of a tricky contract to find comps for because, while Emanuel is technically a defensive “starter”, he doesn’t play starter snaps and is primarily valued on special teams. He also made $1,900,000+ in 2018 and will almost certainly sign for something between $2,500,000 and $3,000,000 per year. Is Kyle worth that sort of commitment considering the team is likely to reduce his role on defense? I don’t think so, but I suspect the team will see things differently.Projected Market Value: Two years, $5,750,000, $250,000 guaranteedOdds of being re-signed: 60/40Geremy DavisGeremy Davis had a great training camp and preseason before ultimately earning the fifth wide receiver position coming out of camp. While he didn’t see much time at wide receiver, he played extremely hard on special teams, finishing the season with 10 special teams tackles. It stands to reason he could enter camp with an inside track on the third or fourth spot on the wide receiver depth chart depending on what happens with Tyrell Williams and Travis Benjamin this offseason. The team could very well part ways with both Tyrell Williams and Travis Benjamin this offseason. Should they decide to go that route, it could either lead to a larger role in the offense for Geremy Davis, or entice the team to sign veteran depth behind Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Either way, Davis should come cheap and will probably at least head into camp with a chance with an inside track on one of the final three spots at wide receiver.Projected Market Value: One Year, $850 Denzel Perryman Jersey ,000 with $100,000 in guaranteesOdds of being re-signed: 65/35Jaylen Watkins2018 Season: Jaylen Watkins signed a one year, $800,000 contract with the Chargers last offseason and was, by all accounts, enjoying a solid training camp and preseason before he tore an anterior cruciate ligament during the second preseason game. Watkins can play nickel corner and safety, and signing him creates competition throughout the secondary when healthy. The Chargers obviously liked Jaylen Watkins enough to sign him last offseason, and I have a feeling they’ll probably give him a second chance this offseason. He should come relatively inexpensively and, as I mentioned above, bringing him back breeds competition in the secondary. Maybe bringing Jaylen back allows the team to transition Jahleel Addae into a more suitable dime linebacker role, while giving Watkins and Adrian Phillips a chance to compete at free safety.Projected Market Value: One year, $850,000 with $150,000 in guarantees.Odds of being re-signed: 60/40You probably noticed the absence of players like Tyrell Williams, Denzel Perryman, Jason Verrett and Antonio Gates from this list. As you might have guessed based on their absence, I believe the team will part ways with each of them for one reason or another this offseason. I’ll discuss those at length in my next article. So, in summary, I expect the Chargers to make every effort to retain Adrian Phillips, Darius Philon, Damion Square, Kyle Emanuel, Geremy Davis and Jaylen Watkins. While I’m on board with re-signing Phillips, Philon, Square, and Davis, I could go either way on Watkins. And I’m ready to part ways with Emanuel. In my opinion, Darius Philon is probably the most likely player on this list to outperform his deal, while it will probably be very difficult to get a justifiable return on a market deal for Kyle Emanuel. Thanks for reading and please keep an eye out for my next off-season piece – Four unrestricted free agents the Chargers will not re-sign.Let me know what you think in the comments section…

than they were last year? What does the current Philadelphia Eagles opening day roster look like compared to last year’s version? Have the reigning Super Bowl champions improved Womens Nelson Agholor Jersey , stayed the same, or gotten worse? Read on for a position-by-position breakdown.QUARTERBACK2018: Carson Wentz, Nick Foles, Nate Sudfeld2017: Carson Wentz, Nick FolesKind of a tricky one here since we don’t officially know when Wentz will be back. And even when he does return, will he be 100%? Will he regress a little from last year? I’m not down on Wentz by any means. He could take a little step back and still have a great season. There’s just some uncertainty here. The same uncertainty applies to Foles being a real high variance quarterback. I will say that the Eagles’ depth improved now that Sudfeld has had a year in the scheme. You have to feel better about him backing up Foles than you did at this point last year. Overall, though, I think I have to say they’re worse here. Again, that doesn’t mean I think they won’t be fine here. It’s just that they were SO good at this spot in 2017 that I think they’re naturally bound to see some kind of drop off. Verdict: WORSE.RUNNING BACK2018: Jay Ajayi, Darren Sproles, Corey Clement, Wendell Smallwood2017: LeGarrette Blount, Darren Sproles, Wendell Smallwood, Corey Clement, Donnel PumphreyRemember when the Eagles kept FIVE running backs on their original 53-man last year? Fun times. I think the Eagles are in much better shape now with Ajayi, Sproles, and Clement as their main three. And that’s no disrespect to LG, whom I’ll always have lots of love for. But Ajayi could be really good; he averaged 5.8 yards per carry in the regular season last year. Sproles still looks like Sproles. Clement improved so much from Week 1 to the Super Bowl last year. He’s poised to be even better in Year 2. You could do worse than having Smallwood as a fourth guy, I suppose.Verdict: BETTER.WIDE RECEIVER2018: Alshon Jeffery, Mike Wallace, Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins, Shelton Gibson Zach Ertz Jersey , DeAndre Carter, Markus Wheaton2017: Alshon Jeffery, Torrey Smith, Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins, Marcus Johnson, Shelton GibsonAnother tricky one because Jeffery will likely miss at least two games. Hollins is also out for Week 1. I do think Wallace is a definite upgrade on Smith. I also think Agholor could be even better than he was last year since he’s had an awesome offseason. He could very well lead this team in receiving. Gibson had a strong preseason; he definitely took a step forward. I feel good about Carter and Wheaton as depth players. I will say this group is better than last year’s once they get back to full force. Keep in mind the injury Jeffery is still recovering from is the one he had to play through all last year. Maybe he can be more effective once he moves beyond that.Verdict: BETTER.TIGHT END2018: Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert, Joshua Perkins2017: Zach Ertz, Brent Celek, Trey BurtonErtz has had a strong offseason and I feel confident the 27-year-old will give the Eagles good production yet again. Rookie tight ends notoriously take time to develop but Goedert might be able to buck that trend because he looks pretty unstoppable at times. At the least, I think he’s an upgrade on Celek. Richard Rodgers would’ve been the tight end here if he didn’t get hurt. Instead, it’s Perkins, who is definitely a downgrade from Burton. I think Goedert > Celek and Perkins < Burton cancels out to make this group the same as last year.Verdict: SAME.OFFENSIVE LINE2018: Jason Peters, Stefen Wisniewski, Jason Kelce, Brandon Brooks, Lane Johnson, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Isaac Seumalo, Chance Warmack, Matt Pryor, Jordan Mailata2017: Jason Peters, Isaac Seumalo http://www.eagleslockerroom.com/authentic-fletcher-cox-jersey , Jason Kelce, Brandon Brooks, Lane Johnson, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Stefen Wisniewski, Chance WarmackThe Eagles arguably had the best offensive line in the NFL last year and they’re one of just a handful of teams returning all five starters. I’d say that’s a pretty good situation. Although Big V certainly isn’t without his struggles, he did play well enough that the Eagles were still able to win a Super Bowl with him starting at left tackle. Seumalo might be improved from last year. Overall, I don’t think there’s enough improvement to say that the entire group is better, but that’s fine, because there wasn’t much room for them to go up anyway. Verdict: SAME.DEFENSIVE END2018: Brandon Graham, Derek Barnett, Michael Bennett, Chris Long, Josh Sweat2017: Brandon Graham, Vinny Curry, Derek Barnett, Chris Long, Steven MeansGone is Curry and in is Bennett. It can be easy to underrated Bennett’s ability since he won’t even necessarily be “starting” for this squad. Making him a rotational player could be a wise move since he’ll be required to play fewer snaps. Graham is coming off offseason surgery but he should be motivated as ever as he enters a contract year. Barnett could take a step forward. Long figures to be a really good player. Sweat likely won’t play much, if at all, in 2018 but he has potential. Overall, this group looks better to me, and Bennett has a lot to do with that.Verdict: BETTER.DEFENSIVE TACKLE2018: Fletcher Cox, Haloti Ngata, Destiny Vaeao Womens Jake Elliott Jersey , Bruce Hector, [Timmy Jernigan on NFI]2017: Fletcher Cox, Timmy Jernigan, Beau Allen, Destiny Vaeao, Elijah QuallsAfter winning the Super Bowl, Cox said his next goal is to win Defensive Player of the Year. Given the way he looked unstoppable in the preseason, I don’t think he was joking around. He might be in for a career season. The defensive tackles outside of Cox are not so inspiring. I think Ngata can be solid but it’d be much more ideal if he was a No. 3 guy in Beau Allen’s old role as opposed to having to start. Missing Jernigan for at least six weeks (and maybe even the entire season?) hurts this group. Vaeao doesn’t do a ton for much and Hector is an undrafted rookie free agent. It’s easy to say the Eagles got worse here.Verdict: WORSE.LINEBACKER2018: Jordan Hicks, Nigel Bradham (suspended Week 1), Kamu Grugier-Hill, Nathan Gerry, LaRoy Reynolds2017: Jordan Hicks, Nigel Bradham, Mychal Kendricks, Najee Goode, Kamu Grugier-Hill, Joe WalkerHaving Hicks big is pretty significant. I feel like people might be sleeping on his presence. Yes, he gets hurt a lot, but he’s damn good when healthy. Thankfully Bradham will only have to miss one game, but it’s still a factor here. It’s hard to say for sure we know Grugier-Hill and Gerry will be better than Kendricks, who turned in a good effort in 2017. I think I’ll have to say the Eagles are worse off with Kendricks gone and Bradham missing a game. I don’t think it’s dramatically worse but I can’t say “better” and “same” just doesn’t seem accurate.Verdict: WORSE.CORNERBACK2018: Ronald Darby, Jalen Mills, Sidney Jones, Rasul Douglas Derek Barnett Jersey , Avonte Maddox2017: Ronald Darby, Jalen Mills, Patrick Robinson, Dexter McDougle, Rasul Douglas, [Sidney Jones on NFI]Darby and Mills both had fantastic offseasons. They were among the top performers frompractices and preseason games. I feel good about both of them potentially being better than last year. Darby will be especially motivated since he’s in a contract year. I think having him for a full year in the system (as opposed to last year) also really helps. The area where the Eagles likely got worse is at slot corner. That’s not even a knock on Jones; it’s just that Robinson was SO GOOD as the nickel in 2017. Jones is talented, without a doubt, but he could go through some growing pains. I like Maddox as depth player more than McDougle and I think Douglas, while he has his ups and downs, has made some progress since being a rookie. Overall, this is an improved group.Verdict: BETTER.SAFETY2018: Malcolm Jenkins, Rodney McLeod, Corey Graham, Tre Sullivan, Deiondre’ Hall (one game suspension), [Chris Maragos on PUP]2017: Malcolm Jenkins, Rodney McLeod, Corey Graham, Chris Maragos, Jaylen WatkinsNot a lot of change here. The top three guys are really the only ones who will play (barring injury). I think it’s fair to say this group is the same as last year. Verdict: SAME.SPECIALISTS2018: Jake Elliott, Cameron Johnston, Rick Lovato2017: Caleb Sturgis, Donnie Jones, Rick LovatoI’d say this group has the potential to be worse with the punter change. Jones was the best punter in franchise history http://www.eagleslockerroom.com/authentic-ronald-darby-jersey , statistically speaking at least. I’ll give Johnston the benefit of the doubt since I thought he showed up in preseason games. He’ll need to maintain that consistency to keep his job safe each week. I don’t think he has an incredibly long leash when it comes to making mistakes. Verdict: SAME.OVERALLOut of 11 positions listed here, I think four are better, three are worse, and four are the same. Last year at this time I thought eight were better and three were the same. But the Eagles were also coming off a 7-9 season and not a Super Bowl win. There was a lot more room for improvement back then.Overall, I still feel pretty good about this Eagles team. You have to consider that there are many ways in which they’re in better shape than a lot of teams out there. The Vince Lombardi trophy is a nifty reminder of that very fact. PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Carson Wentz proved to the Philadelphia Eagles in three years he’s worth a huge investment.Wentz and the Eagles have agreed on a four-year contract extension through the 2024 season. The deal announced Thursday night adds four years to Wentz’s rookie contract. It’s worth $128 million with more than $107 million guaranteed, according to ESPN.“From the moment I got drafted here, I knew this place was special, I knew they had the most passionate fans in the world, in all of sports, and I knew we had the opportunity to build something truly special and to be cemented here means the world to me,” Wentz wrote on Twitter.Wentz is 23-17 in three seasons as the starting quarterback but has missed 13 games, including five playoff contests over the past two years. He finished third in NFL MVP voting in 2017 when backup quarterback Nick Foles led the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory over the Patriots.Wentz tore his ACL in Week 13 in 2017 and sat out the final three regular-season games in 2018 because of a back injury. This is only his second full offseason preparing as the starting quarterback. He was No. 3 on the depth chart in 2016 until Sam Bradford was traded a week before the opener.“It’s a huge benefit,” Wentz told The Associated Press last week about practicing with the starters throughout the summer.“Unfortunately injuries happen and sometimes you can’t be out there but any chance I can be out there, I want to be. I want to be attacking it full on and building chemistry with these guys. … Building that chemistry and that foundation this time of year is critically important and it’s been fun so far.”Selected No. 2 overall out of North Dakota State in the 2016 draft after Jared Goff, Wentz has thrown for 10,152 yards, 70 touchdowns and 28 interceptions with a 92.5 passer rating. Despite some inconsistency last season, he posted career highs in completion rate (69.6 percent) and passer rating (102.2). His 32 TD passes in 2017 and completion percentage last season are franchise records.A fierce competitor on the field, Wentz is equally passionate about his charitable work. He launched his Audience of One Foundation after his rookie season and last week hosted his second annual charity softball game with teammates at the home of the Philadelphia Phillie. The event has drawn more than 40,000 fans and raised more than $1.3 million for his charitable initiatives. Those include building a sports complex in Haiti, a 25-foot food truck named “Thy Kingdom Crumb” that delivers free food to people in the Delaware Valley, an ice cream truck that’s coming soon and an outdoor youth program — Camp Conquerors — that serves children with physical challenges and life-threatening illnesses.“We love being a blessing to others and sharing Jesus with people,” Wentz said. “These are things I’m really passionate about.”

Pavely-USA TODAY SportsThe Jaguars plans for revamping their anemic offense and return to the promise that was held following the 2017 playoff run, begins at midnight on Monday, March 11th, as the official “legal tampering” window opens for NFL teams in their efforts to woo potential unrestricted free agents. While the cat is already out of the bag, sort to speak, on who the Jags’ top free agent priority will be starting Monday— former Philadelphia Eagle and Super Bowl LII MVP quarterback Nick Foles— the team is rumored to be active once again in free agency, following a weekend purge that saw them free up over $30 million in cap space. Based off of recent NFL insider reports, as well as some rumors heard within the last few days, here are a few names to keep an eye out for that may be brought in once the league calendar opens this Wednesday http://www.thejaguarslockerroom.com/authentic-niles-paul-jersey , other than Foles.Jesse James, Tight End, (Pittsburgh Steelers)At 6’7 260 lbs., James brings both the frame and athleticism that Tom Coughlin, Dave Caldwell, and Doug Marrone would love to add to their offense. While he had a decrease in production in 2018, due mostly to the emergence of Vance McDonald, James is a versatile tight end who is able to be a strong weapon in the passing game while also serving as a reliable blocker in the rushing attack. Perhaps best known for his touchdown reception that never was during a 2017 regular season game against New England, James would likely become a favorite target for whoever lines up under center for the Jaguars, at a position of desperate need. He also shouldn’t come as too heavy of a price tag.Golden Tate, Wide Receiver, (Philadelphia Eagles)While the team is publicly stating that they are content with the wide receiver group they have entering 2019 Womens Marcell Dareus Jersey , the Jags could stand to use a veteran who can be depended on more than the oft-injured Marqise Lee, and hit or miss Dede Westbrook. Tate reportedly has strong interest in joining the Patriots, and may be asking for more than the Jags are willing to spend at the spot, but from what I understand there is mutual interest should New England and the cash not be what Tate is looking for. Having close ties to Jalen Ramsey, and some familiarity with Foles following a half season in Philadelphia, may help sweeten the deal a bit in the Jags’ favor.Andy Levitre, Guard, (Atlanta Falcons)It’s no secret that outside of maybe tight end, the position of most pressing need for the Jaguars to address once a quarterback is in the fold, will be the offensive line. Levitre is a former second round pick of the Buffalo Bills back in 2009 and has amassed 143 starts over his NFL career, including four years with the Bills, two seasons with the Titans Josh Lambo Jersey , and the previous two seasons with the Falcons where his 2018 season ended abruptly following a Week 2 triceps tear. Levitre will be 32 starting the season, and coming off injury, but he is a seasoned vet and at the least would serve as a quality backup who can play either guard spot. He should also come relatively cheap.Preston Brown, Linebacker, (Cincinnati Bengals)Although the focus this off-season will be heavily skewed toward the offense, don’t be surprised if the Jags add a piece to the depth at linebacker, particularly one who can play the true “Mike” backer spot which was somewhat lacking last season at times, (see the Dallas and Tennessee TNF games). Another player who, like Levitre, may be a second-tier signing, Brown was a four-year starter with the Bills before signing with the Bengals last off-season to a one-year deal, but was plagued by injuries in his season in Cincinnati http://www.thejaguarslockerroom.com/authentic-taven-bryan-jersey , including an unspecified knee injury that ended his season in November. When healthy, Brown was a solid inside linebacker in Buffalo, starting 62 games and accounting for 505 tackles including 21 tackles for loss and 1 sack. He could provide short-term and inexpensive support in the run game and necessary depth. This year marks the 25th season for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Probably the nicest moment in franchise history — retiring Dan Marino. The Jaguars were one of the most dominating teams during the 1999 NFL regular season and that carried over at then Alltell Stadium, as the Jaguars jumped all over the Dolphins from the start with an 8-yard touchdown pass from Mark Brunell to Jimmy Smith. Dolphins great Dan Marino was picked off on the very next play leading to a field goal.A few plays later, Fred Taylor broke off a 90-yard touchdown run Womens Justin Blackmon Jersey , Tony Brackens returned a fumble for a touchdown and the domination was on to the tune of 24-0 in the first quarter. It didn’t stop, however, as the Jaguars poured on the pressure and the points ending the day winning 62-7. Taylor ran for 135 yards, Brunell threw just nine passes before being replaced for Jay Fiedler. Fiedler himself threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns. Marino finished the day with just 95 passing yards on 25 attempts before being knocked out of the game with an injury, which ultimately would be the final game of his Hall of Fame career. Our friends at The Mothership did a great piece on this game and the postgame highlights are a treat — there are some absolute GEMS that I totally forgot about. he suffered a concussion on the first play of Philadelphia’s loss to Miami two weeks ago but lied to the team’s medical staff to continue playing.“I just basically lied to them Womens Chris Long Jersey ,” Grugier-Hill said, via Dave Zangaro of NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com. “I thought it would just go away. Just didn’t really say anything about it. It got to the point where I really couldn’t lie to them anymore.”Grugier-Hill ended up playing 56 snaps against the Dolphins but missed this week’s game because of the concussion. He didn’t tell the team’s medical staff about it until four days after the game, when he was still having headaches. He said it was the first concussion he has ever suffered. He also said he doesn’t regret playing through it.“No,” he said. “I mean, I wish we would have at least got a win.”Grugeri-Hill’s comments point to one of the fundamental problems with preventing brain injuries in football: Most of the brain injuries suffered in football can only be diagnosed with the player’s cooperation, and many players would rather keep playing. The Philadelphia Eagles issued their first official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Week 6 game against the Minnesota Vikings. The big news is that Sidney Jones returned to practice as a full participant after being limited all last week and not playing in Week 5. Jones should be on track to start across from Rasul Douglas on Sunday. Those two will be tasked with covering Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Craig James will go back to the bench.Seven players did not participate in Wednesday’s practice: DeSean Jackson Wendell Smallwood Jersey , Orlando Scandrick, Darren Sproles, Corey Clement, Ronald Darby, Avonte Maddox, and Timmy Jernigan.Jackson is reportedly set to return at some point between Week 7 through Week 9. The Eagles offense sorely misses his speed. Philadelphia will once again be down to Alshon Jeffery http://www.eagleslockerroom.com/authentic-chris-maragos-jersey , Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside at wide receiver this week.Scandrick missed practice due to illness. Guessing he should be fine to be the Eagles’ slot corner this week, assuming he didn’t catch mono from Sam Darnold.Darren Sproles was described as “week-to-week” by Doug Pederson on Monday. So, who knows when the 36-year-old running back will be back. Sproles’ injury means the Eagles will have a new punt returner. Pederson declined to reveal who’ll be returning punts for the Eagles but Clement and Agholor figure to be the most likely candidates. The Eagles could opt to promote practice squad receiver Marcus Green, since he has punt return experience. Boston Scott does not have much punt return experience and he really struggled in that capacity during the preseason. Clement surprisingly missed practice due to a shoulder injury. Did he re-injure the shoulder he originally hurt in Week 2? Not good. If healthy Womens Darren Sproles Jersey , Clement is poised to contribute more on both offense and special teams with Sproles out. If Clement’s hurt, though, the Eagles will need to make a move at running back to have a third guy behind Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders. For what it’s worth, Clement told Dave Zangaro he’ll be back at practice on Thursday. Darby and Maddox are still on the mend. Darby’s recovering from a hamstring issue while Maddox still isn’t out of his neck brace. Maybe they’ll be ready for Week 7 but that’s no sure bet. Jernigan is three weeks in to his reported four-to-six week recovery timeline, so, he should be back in one-to-three weeks. Two players were limited participants: Rodney McLeod and Jason Peters.McLeod’s a new addition to the injury report. He’s been playing well coming off the ACL/MCL injuries he suffered in September 2018. One would hope the Eagles are just being cautious with the veteran safety.Peters was added to the injury report last week but didn’t miss many snaps against the Jets. The Eagles are managing the 37-year-old’s workload this week to ensure he can suit up on Sunday.Derek Barnett isn’t on the injury report for the first time all season. Bennie Fowler III Jersey , Ill. (AP) — Whether they were loading up around Mitchell Trubisky or swinging a last-minute blockbuster trade for Khalil Mack, the offseason was all about the quarterback for the Chicago Bears.Develop their own — and harass their opponent’s.Now, it’s time to see how it all comes together. But the Bears sure look like they are poised for bigger things after four straight last-place finishes in the NFC North. They spent much of the offseason surrounding Trubisky with the weapons they believe he needs to succeed, hiring the offensive-minded Matt Nagy to replace the fired John Fox after a 5-11 season and adding play-makers such as former Jacksonville Pro Bowl receiver Allen Robinson. The biggest addition? That would be Mack, acquired from Oakland on Saturday.A two-time All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowl selection, he has 40 1/2 sacks in four seasons. Mack gives an already solid defense an elite edge rusher http://www.thebearslockerroom.com/authentic-taylor-gabriel-jersey , though he’s not the only important addition. The Bears added a potential cornerstone player when they drafted inside linebacker Roquan Smith at No. 8 overall.Clearly, general manager Ryan Pace is thinking big.The Bears have made the playoffs once since the 2006 team’s run to the Super Bowl. They have five straight seasons without a winning record. And they have a fan base that’s antsy yet energized. Here are some things to know as the Bears get ready to open the season at Green Bay on Sept. 9:NEW MONSTER: Mack is the best pass rusher acquired by the Bears since Julius Peppers left Carolina to sign with them in 2010.His arrival could turn a defense that ranked 10th overall into an elite unit. And it gives coordinator Vic Fangio — who re-signed after getting passed over for the head coaching job — a major weapon. More pressure on the quarterback could lead to more interceptions for the Monsters of the Midway after they had one of the lowest totals in the NFL last season with eight. That was a big sticking point for a defense that ranked seventh against the pass, ninth in scoring and 11th against the run. The Bears also tied for seventh in sacks.NEXT STEP: Whether he makes the sort of leap Carson Wentz and Jared Goff did in their second seasons, the Bears are banking on Trubisky to take at least a few big strides. They also expect him to hit a few more bumps along the way.“The first time we get out there and play a real game in Lambeau and we play that first regular-season game, there’s gonna be hiccups,” Nagy said. “He’s gonna learn from that. Then we just continue to grow as the games go by. Mitch can handle all of it.”Trubisky threw for 2 Womens Trey Burton Jersey ,193 yards and completed 59.4 percent of his passes in 12 starts last season. But the No. 2 pick in the 2017 draft also threw as many touchdowns as interceptions (seven). But he’s playing in a more open and aggressive system with some new receivers, something the Bears sorely lacked. Besides Robinson, they also added receivers Taylor Gabriel and rookie Anthony Miller, as well as tight end Trey Burton.NEW TERRITORY: Though he comes with a reputation for developing quarterbacks, one thing Nagy does not have is experience as a head coach. He didn’t even start calling plays until late last season with Kansas City, where coach Andy Reid handled those chores. And he never really had to worry about the defense or special teams until now.“It’s one of those things Cody Parkey Jersey , some coaches are offensive, some coaches are defensive, and he’s a guy that can really rally all the guys,” guard Kyle Long said. The Bears certainly needed a lift after going 14-34 over three seasons under Fox. That gave him the second-worst winning percentage in franchise history.ON THE MEND: Almost as important as Trubisky’s development is the health of Robinson and Long. Both players are coming back from injuries and hoping to flash their old Pro Bowl form.Robinson tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during last year’s opener with Jacksonville. The 2015 Pro Bowl receiver was injured on the Jaguars’ third play and missed the remainder of the season.Long, a three-time Pro Bowl lineman, is healthy after two injury-filled seasons. He’s coming off shoulder http://www.thebearslockerroom.com/authentic-khalil-mack-jersey , elbow and neck surgeries, not to mention a major ankle injury in recent years.CATCHING UP: The Bears were drawn to Smith partly because of his speed. Seeing how quickly he can catch up following a holdout wasn’t what they had in mind. The inside linebacker from Georgia showed up 30 days after rookies were supposed to report to camp. He was the final pick in this year’s NFL draft to sign by the time he agreed to a four-year contract that guarantees $18.5 million and includes an $11.5 million signing bonus. There was a holdup over contract language. We think we know who it is, but you might disagree!" for SiriusXMIt’s polling season here at The Falcoholic, and we’re moving right along to survey the team’s history of fourth-round picks. It’s gets a little dicier as you continue on with the draft rounds, as there are less and less good players to choose from just by the quality of players you can typically find in the fourth round. The Falcons haven’t been half bad here at all recently, with the most notable fourth-round selection Pro Bowl running back Devonta Freeman out of Florida State. While he missed most of 2018 with injury Gale Sayers Jersey , he’s been an electrifying talent throughout his career here and is one of the top-paid running backs in the NFL for good reason. De’Vondre Campbell is another fourth rounder who found instant success on the field and solidified himself as a pretty great strongside linebacker for the team. Rookie Ito Smith flashed moments of brilliance in his rookie season, and recently re-signed wideout Justin Hardy had performed admirably in a reserve role throughout his career. The team also found guys like Levine Toilolo and Joe Hawley in the fourth round over time, and don’t forget Stephen Nicholas, who was a prominent member of the Mike Smith years. We’ve compiled some older names as well (Roberto Garza stings considering his career with the Bears). Ken Reaves is a special one, since he’s one of the franchise’s first legitimately good drafted players. He made a Pro Bowl in his time here.

Packers this afternoon as both home underdogs and a team that cannot afford to lose more than perhaps one more game the rest of the season. Combinations of injuries Rayshawn Jenkins Jersey , poor execution, and generally bad coaching decisions have brought the Chargers to this unfortunate point, and they will need improvement in all three areas along with a dash of luck to find their way into the playoffs this season.Today will be new offensive coordinator Shane Steichen’s first time calling plays and his challenge could not be much more difficult than the one he faces. Green Bay has one of the NFL’s best defenses and if that were not bad enough, Steichen’s offense will have to keep pace with an Aaron Rodgers-led offense that will be getting to go up against the Chargers’ hapless defense. This will be an incredibly difficult game, but it is the type of game this team needs to win if they are going to overcome their awful first half of the season. If Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will indeed be the NFL’s next big thing, we’ll all get our first big glimpse of him on the NFL’s in-house TV channel. The league announced on Tuesday that 13 preseason games will be broadcast live on NFL Network. The process begins on Thursday, August 8, with a Week One doubleheader featuring the Jets and Giants () at 7:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Cardinals and Chargers at 10:00 p.m. ET.In all, NFLN will televise two of Arizona’s four preseason games live, with the third preseason game (at Minnesota) shown on Saturday, August 24 http://www.thechargerslockerroom.com/authentic-justin-jones-jersey , at 1:00 p.m. ET.Arizona’s second preseason game, at home against the Raiders, will be shown by ESPN on Thursday, August 15.The other 10 live NFLN preseason games will have the Buccaneers at the Steelers (Friday, August 9, 7:30 p.m. ET), the 49ers at the Cowboys (Saturday, August 10, 8:00 p.m. ET), the Bears at the Giants (Friday, August 16, 7:30 p.m. ET) Womens Kyzir White Jersey , the Browns at the Colts (Saturday, August 17, 4:30 p.m. ET), the Chiefs at the Steelers (Saturday, August 17, 7:30 p.m. ET), the Cowboys at Rams from Hawaii (Saturday, August 17, 10:00 p.m. ET), the Texans at the Cowboys (Saturday, August 24, 4:00 p.m. ET) Virgil Green Jersey , the Seahawks at the Chargers (Saturday, August 24, 10:00 p.m. ET), the Eagles at the Jets (Thursday, August 29, 7:00 p.m. ET), and the Chargers at the 49ers (Thursday, August 29, 10:00 p.m. ET).NFL Network also will have re-airs of all 65 preseason games, many of which will feature local announcers butchering the last names of the back-of-roster players from the opposing teams. When that happens, you’ll know football is back.

COSTA MESA Womens Travis Benjamin Jersey , Calif. (AP) —Chargers in a hole too deep to escape last season.Coach Anthony Lynn wants his new team to spend September building instead of digging. The first few weeks of this season are particularly important to Lynn and the Chargers, a popular pick to win the AFC West and to earn their franchise’s second postseason appearance since 2009.The Bolts went 9-3 after their dismal start to their relocation season, but it wasn’t enough to make the playoffs. Lynn seems confident his veteran players learned the importance of early season urgency from last year’s setbacks.“We’ll see how we start, but hopefully we start faster than we did last year,” Lynn said Monday after the Chargers began preparations for Sunday’s home opener against Kansas City. The Chargers weren’t exactly terrible to begin last season: Three of those four losses were by seven total points, and the Chargers were undone twice by missed field goals in the final seconds. But they didn’t match the level of play they hit frequently later in the year , when the NFL’s top passing offense and an aggressive defense combined to turn the Bolts into one of the NFL’s best teams.“You can’t take wins and losses from last season,” Lynn said. “I wish you could, but you can’t. But you can certainly bring the culture over Keenan Allen Jersey , and I like the attitude of the players.”The Chargers also feel they’ve got a reliable kicker after last season’s missteps. The team that cycled through four kickers last season is going with Caleb Sturgis, who was the champion Philadelphia Eagles’ kicker at the start of last season before getting hurt and missing the bulk of the year. The Chargers also appear to be getting healthy after several regulars were slowed by injuries during the preseason.Defensive end Joey Bosa, receiver Tyrell Williams, rookie defensive tackle Justin Jones and cornerbacks Casey Hayward and Trevor Williams all participated in the Bolts’ first practice of the week Monday. Bosa and Hayward, two of their most important defensive players, are expected to be ready to play Sunday.“My only concern is a boxer needs so many sparring rounds before you go fight, and these guys have been out,” Lynn said. “So getting them caught up and back in the fold is my only concern.”Tight end Antonio Gates was in the locker room after signing a one-year deal to return for his 16th season with the Chargers, but he won’t return to practice until Wednesday. Lynn is waiting to evaluate the 38-year-old star’s readiness before he determines Gates’ role this weekend.“I just want to see his conditioning http://www.thechargerslockerroom.com/authentic-ladainian-tomlinson-jersey ,” Lynn said. “I don’t want to put him in a position where he goes out there and hurts himself, and that sets us back four or five weeks. I just don’t see us doing that. But Antonio, he’s a pro. He’ll let me know how he feels at the end of the week and about how his pitch count can be, and we’ll talk about it.”Kansas City will be a particular challenge right away for the Chargers, who were beaten soundly twice by the AFC West champions last year. Kansas City essentially sewed up the division with a 30-13 home victory over Los Angeles on Dec. 16 — the Chargers’ only loss in seven games to close the season.Nearly every playmaker from last season’s team is back, and they all remember how it felt to be playing catch-up all season long.“We definitely want to get it going from the start this year, and not wait to get to where we need to go,” running back Melvin Gordon said recently. “We’ve got to be ready.” Your daily dose of Los Angeles Chargers news & notes from around the web." />Skip to main contentclockmenumore-arrownoyesHorizontal - WhiteBolts From The BlueBolts From The Blue, a Los Angeles Chargers communityLog In or Sign UpLog InSign UpFanpostsFanshotsSectionsChargersOddsAboutMastheadCommunity GuidelinesStubHubMoreAll 322 blogs on Horizontal - WhiteFanposts Fanshots Sections San Diego Chargers Daily LinksSan Diego Chargers NewsSan Diego Chargers OffseasonSan Diego Chargers HistorySan Diego Chargers HumorFiled under:Chargers Daily LinksLos Angeles Chargers Daily Links: Can Thomas Davis be an impact player?New Womens Jatavis Brown Jersey ,51commentsYour daily dose of Los Angeles Chargers news & notes from around the web.PDTShareTweetShareShareLos Angeles Chargers Daily Links: Can Thomas Davis be an impact player?Kirby Lee-USA TODAY SportsOne stat to know on every team's highest-graded free agency signing - Mark ChichesterAmong the 41 linebackers in the PFF era with at least 100 snaps as a pure pass-rusher (as opposed to their snaps from blitzes), Thomas Davis‘ pass-rush win rate of 25.4% and his pressure rate of 29.5% both rank first.Ranking the top-five draft-eligible interior defensive linemen by pressure percentage in 2018 - Austin GayleNotre Dame’s Jerry Tillery is a long, athletic specimen that tied for first with Williams in pass-rush grade (92.5) and tied for fourth with the next guy on this list in pressure percentage (12.2%). Tillery recorded the third-most pressures (48) of any interior defensive linemen, tallying 33 hurries, seven hits, and eight sacks.Predictions for every NFL team's best offseason move - Ben Cooper & Ben LinseyLinebacker stood out as one of the top needs for the Chargers heading into 2019, as injuries and ineffective play left them very thin towards the end of last season. The re-signing of Denzel Perryman helps, as he picked up a 70.1 overall grade across 386 defensive snaps in 2018 before his injury. Davis adds another quality, veteran starter to the position.Chargers want Thomas Davis' leadership as well as his game - Eric D. One of them could be available when the Bolts are on the clock. But all three do not show nearly as much promise as Murray, Haskins, or some of the signal-callers that could be available in the 2020 Draft.Social Media Information:BFTB Facebook Page: Click here to like our pageBFTB Twitter: Follow @BFTB_ChargersThe Lightning Round Twitter: Follow @Lightning_RoundThe Lightning Round Facebook: Click here to like our pageBFTB Manager: Richard Wade: Follow @RichardWade

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — playing and have a chance to defend their Super Bowl title. All the Washington Redskins can do now is play spoiler. It’s do-or-die for the Eagles (8-7) when they visit the Redskins (7-8) on Sunday. A victory coupled with a loss by the Vikings (8-6-1) at home against the Bears (11-4) gives Philadelphia the final wild-card spot and the NFC’s No. 6 seed. A loss sends them on an early vacation.“It’s tough not to control your own destiny but at the same time Alshon Jeffery Jersey , if you focus on everything else that is going on and we have a slip-up because we’re not focusing on our jobs, it’s really not going to matter,” Eagles tight end Zach Ertz said. The Eagles didn’t expect to be in this position after winning their first NFL championship since 1960. They were the clear favorites in the NFC East and thinking repeat, but inconsistency and injuries plagued them from the start. The Redskins were surprise division leaders when they opened 6-3. But they’ve lost five of six after starting quarterback Alex Smith and backup Colt McCoy went down with season-ending injuries.“We have to set our goals high and we have to try to figure out a way to beat Philadelphia and focus on what they do and try to come up with a plan to best put our players in a position to make plays and win the football game,” Redskins coach Jay Gruden said.“That’s the only thing we can do right now moving forward. Are we sick about the position we’re in? Yes we are. There’s 15, 16 other teams that are in the same boat http://www.eagleslockerroom.com/authentic-lane-johnson-jersey , and I expect they are going to go out and compete the last game of the year also. It’s no different here.”The Eagles have been resilient, rebounding after a 41-point loss to the Saints dropped their record to 4-6. They won two in a row only to suffer a disappointing overtime loss at Dallas and learning afterward that Carson Wentz would be sidelined by a back injury. Then Nick Foles stepped in and led Philadelphia to consecutive victories over 10-win teams. Foles, the Super Bowl MVP in the victory over New England, was outstanding in an upset win at the Los Angeles Rams and sensational in a comeback win over Houston. Now, he has to do it again and it may not be enough. If the Vikings win, the Eagles are eliminated. The playoff-bound Bears still have a chance to earn the No. 2 seed so a first-round bye is enough incentive for coach Matt Nagy to play his starters at Minnesota. The Eagles can only focus on the Redskins.“All we can control is our preparation and what we do on a day-in-and-day-out basis getting ready for the game Womens Nelson Agholor Jersey , staying in the moment, controlling what we can control,” Foles said. Here’s some things to watch for when the Eagles try to complete a season sweep against the Redskins:YOUNG AND OLDUndrafted rookie Josh Adams has emerged as Philadelphia’s leading rusher while Redskins veteran Adrian Peterson became the oldest player to rush for 1,000 yards in a season since John Riggins did it in 1984 for Washington.TRENCH BATTLESThe Eagles have one of the top offensive lines in the NFL. Right tackle Lane Johnson has dominated opponents lately, including J.J. Watt. Right guard Brandon Brooks was selected for his second straight Pro Bowl. The Redskins are also strong upfront. Their starting defensive linemen — Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne and Matt Ioannidis — have combined for 20½ sacks. Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan leads the team with 12.MIGHTY MOUSEDarren Sproles had 76 yards receiving in Philadelphia’s win against the Texans Zach Ertz Jersey , including a 37-yard touchdown catch on fourth-and-2 on the offense’s opening drive. The speedy and diminutive Sproles has played four games in a row after missing 10 with a hamstring injury. He could be playing his last NFL game. The 35-year-old had planned to retire after this season, but isn’t certain after missing so much action.SCRAMBLER JOSHScrambling quarterbacks have given Philadelphia trouble this season. Deshaun Watson had 49 yards rushing last week. Washington’s Josh Johnson has run for 116 yards on 20 carries.RECORD-SETTERErtz broke Jason Witten’s single-season record for most receptions by a tight end. He has 113 and counting. Ertz has caught more passes (68) against the Redskins than any other team in his six-year career. Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is ready to return from last year’s season-ending back injury. Now the Eagles’ priority is keeping him healthy.Philadelphia coach Doug Pederson told Sal Paolantonio of ESPN that “Carson is good to go” as the Eagles open camp.Asked if the Eagles will managed Wentz’s workload to prevent setbacks, Pederson answered, “We will a little bit.”By letting Nick Foles walk in free agency and giving Wentz a big new contract this offseason, the Eagles have removed any doubt about their faith in Wentz to be the long-term answer at quarterback. But until Wentz makes it through a full year without getting hurt, questions will be raised. It’s not only the back injury in 2018 but also the torn ACL that ended his 2017 season early http://www.eagleslockerroom.com/authentic-fletcher-cox-jersey , the rib injury that kept him out of three preseason games as a rookie in 2016, and the broken wrist that caused him to miss eight weeks as a senior at North Dakota State in 2015.The Eagles want this to be the year that Wentz finally stays healthy. They’ll do what they can to ensure that by being smart with how they use him in training camp.
