MILAN, Italy -- Carlos Tevezs fourth goal in three matches helped Juventus win 1-0 at AC Milan on Saturday in the first high-profile matchup of the Serie A. In the 71st minute at the San Siro, Paul Pogba set up Tevez with only the goalkeeper to beat, and he expertly chipped it in over Christian Abbiati. The victory gave new Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri a measure of revenge against the club that fired him in January. "After 3 1/2 years at Milan this couldnt be a normal match. But its absolutely not revenge," Allegri said. "Milan was an important step for me in my career. ... But now weve got to focus only on Juventus." Tevez also scored in a 2-0 win over Udinese last weekend then produced both goals in a 2-0 victory over Malmo in the Champions League on Tuesday. Juventus was clearly the more dangerous side and controlled for long stretches, holding 60 per cent of the possession, but it took a while for the Bianconeri -- and Tevez -- to find the target. "We expected a match like this. They were coming off two victories," Tevez said. "But we played a good match." Pogbas assist was a work of art, as he faked twice before sending the ball past three defenders toward Tevez from the edge of the area. "I often get angry with Pogba, because hes a lad with huge potential, a lot of which he hasnt shown yet," Allegri said. "Hes very strong physically and technically. He can give a big hand to the squad." With three wins from three matches, Juventus moved three points clear of Milan and Roma, which hosts Cagliari on Sunday. Earlier, Cesena and Empoli drew 2-2 in a matchup between two promoted clubs. With former Juventus and Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi now coaching the Rossoneri, Milan entered with momentum following a wild 5-4 win over Parma last weekend. Inzaghi, however, believed they were still the underdog. "After two matches we cant think that were at Juves level. Theyre one of the strongest squads in Europe -- not just Italy," Inzaghi said. Juventus controlled early on but it was Milan that had the first real chance in the 27th when Keisuke Honda rose between two defenders for a header that goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon did well to deflect with his right hand. Juve midfielder Claudio Marchisio hit the post from beyond the area in the 38th after Nigel de Jong was late in defence. Often-injured Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy exited with an apparent physical problem in the 66th, and five minutes later Tevez found the target. Tevez celebrated by putting a pacifier in his mouth, to acknowledge his son. "That should make him happy," Tevez said. Newly signed forward Fernando Torres made his Milan debut when he came on for Andrea Poli in the 76th, and picked up a yellow card in added time. Milan forward Jeremy Menez protested for a penalty after going down inside the area in the final minutes, but referee Nicola Rizzoli, who officiated the World Cup final, signalled to play on. In Cesena, the hosts went ahead with goals from Guido Marilungo and Gregoire Defrel in the 30th and 32nd, and Empoli responded with a penalty from Francesco Tavano in the 55th and an equalizer by Daniele Rugani in the 72nd. Moments after his Brooklyn Nets teammates ran out onto the court to congratulate him following their 100-98 overtime win over the Phoenix Suns on Friday night, Johnson could only shake his head at scoring only 13 points on 6-of-19 shooting. http://www.officialbuffalobillsfootball.com/authentic-matt-milano-jersey-womens .ca! There is plenty of blame to be shared as a result of the most recent NHL player (Pittsburghs Brooks Orpik) to be evacuated from the ice on a stretcher following an ugly incident Saturday night in Boston. Jordan Poyer Jersey . Gonzalez participated in his final game on Sunday, Atlantas 21-20 defeat at the hands of the NFC South champion Carolina Panthers, having posted four catches for 46 yards. Star Lotulelei Jersey . Neither striker Demba Ba nor Fernando Torres came close to scoring as Chelsea was left unsuccessfully appealing for penalties in this drab penultimate game of the season. "Our strikers are good strikers, no doubt about that, but players with some specific qualities," Mourinho said.Emotions boiled over in a game between the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night, resulting in a pair of ugly incidents. Tensions rose in the first period when Penguins defenceman Brooks Orpik hit Bruins forward Loui Eriksson with what appeared to be a clean hit. Thornton attempted to engage Orpik in a fight, but the defenceman declined the invitation. Later on the same shift, the stick of Penguins captain Sidney Crosby became entangled in the skates of the Bruins Brad Marchand. Marchand fell to the ice and, as he was prone, the knee of Penguins James Neal made contact with Marchands head. As a scrum ensued following the kneeing incident, Thornton skated in behind Orpik, pulled him to the ice from behind with a slew foot and delivered several punches to his head, knocking him unconscious. Orpik was stretchered off the ice after a lengthy delay. Neal received a minor penalty for kneeing and Thornton received a match penalty with intent to injure for his attack on Orpik. The ball is now in the court of Brendan Shanahan and the NHL Department of Player Safety as the league will look to mete out supplementary discipline. But what does each player deserve? The chain of events was set in motion by Orpiks hit and his refusal to engage with Thornton. One of the leagues heavyweights, TThornton has never been suspended before in his career, but his attack on Orpik was clearly premeditated by what happened earlier in the shift.dddddddddddd. In an interview that ran on ESPN.com this week, Thornton was asked about the future of fighting in the NHL, Thornton positioned himself as a proponent of "the code." "Ive been a firm believer my whole life that what goes around comes around," Thornton told ESPN. "If youre one of those guys that suckers someone when theyre down or you go after somebody that doesnt deserve it or isnt the same category as you, that will come back and bite you at some point, too." Does this fall into that category and, if so, will it come back and bite him? Neal has been suspended twice before. In 2009, as a member of the Dallas Stars, Neal received two games for a hit from behind on the Columbus Blue Jackets Derek Dorsett. Then, in the 2012 Eastern Conference quarterfinals, Neal received one game for a charge on Claude Giroux of the Philadelphia Flyers. Considering that Neal is a repeat offender and Marchands prone status, what, if anything, does Neal deserve? Before the NHL hands down its suspensions, weigh in with how you would deal out justice in tonights incidents. What suspensions should be handed out? As always, its Your! Call.
