Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY SportsGreg Little, OTSchool: Ole Miss | Conference: SECCollege Experience: Junior | Age: 21Height / Weight: 6-5 / 310 lbsProjected Draft Status: Round 2NFL Comparison: N/ACollege StatisticsN/APlayer OverviewGreg Little finished his collegiate career at Ole Miss with SEC All-Freshman First Team (2016), All-SEC Second Team (2017), 2018 Preseason All-America First Team, All-SEC First Team (2018), and All-America Second Team (2018) honors. He has had a decorative career at Ole Miss University that has propelled him to become one of the better offensive tackle prospects coming into the draft this year. StrengthsHe has pedigree, familiar with level of competition and intensity at pro-level due to bloodlines. Father was a former player with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.Athletic big, frame does not limit him when he moves.Has the quickness to handle speed-rushers on the edge. Great Length that helps with typically being the person to initiate the contact. WeaknessesNot the most effective run blocker - Must develop frame, strength, and technique in run game.Has to develop patience and control when beat to recover effectively. Balance becomes an issue in this regard.Does not seem to have the overall motor that is desired in an offensive lineman.Let’s see his work (#74 OT):How He Would Fit On The RedskinsFor Little, a developmental role as a Redskin’ would be significant for him. Washington is in solid standing currently at the tackle position; however, the Redskins has two starters in Trent Williams and Morgan Moses who has proven to deal with significant injuries throughout the season, and there is no reliable backup or younger player, in general, being invested into for the eventual take over of either tackle position. Due to his athletic build for the position, Little is capable of playing in any scheme in the league, so that is a non-issue here in Washington. If the Redskins were to look for a player to the caliber of Greg Little in the third-round, or him if he slips past his projection, he can be a useful option. The only question would be at that point is, did the Redskins waste the pick by selecting a project (based on the Redskins standing at the offensive tackle position)? Quarterback Aaron Rodgers' injured left knee has apparently improved to the point where he can take part in a midweek practice.Green Bay's star quarterback was limited in practice on Thursday as the Packers prepare to face the Buffalo Bills this weekend. It is the first time Rodgers took part in a midweek practice since getting hurt during the season-opening win over the Chicago Bears. The Packers usually practice on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays Darrell Green Jersey , with Thursday being the most intensive day of preparation. Rodgers missed midweek practices the previous two weeks to focus on rehab, while returning for the team's lighter practices on Saturday. The Packers were plagued by inconsistent play in a 31-17 loss to Washington last week, including drops, a fumble and penalties."When everybody's out there, the attention to detail is greater," receiver Geronimo Allison said after practice. "He demands more as the (potential) Hall of Fame quarterback, as the leader of our team. He demands perfections when he's out there with us."Rodgers missed practice Wednesday again this week, but the quarterback was cleared to practice on Thursday. He still does his usual extensive work with receivers in the film room, too."I'm one who always loves being out there because you're not just competing but you're working on things with the guys and working on the game plan," Rodgers said on Wednesday. "That's the trade-off 鈥?not being out there for practice but the trade-off is I can actually get out there and play on Sunday."Just Rodgers' presence alone raises the intensity level on defense, too, coach Mike McCarthy has said."It's good to see your franchise quarterback, your No. 1 player out there. It just kind of brings the spirits up of everybody," linebacker Clay Matthews said.Jimmy Graham also returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday. McCarthy said the veteran tight end was given a "maintenance" day on Wednesday, when he was listed as missing practice with a knee injury.Right tackle Bryan Bulaga was also limited for a second straight day, though it appears the veteran starter should be available on Sunday after leaving last week's loss to the Redskins.Notes: WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) was limited after being added to the injury report on Thursday. ... Starting CB Kevin King (groin) returned to practice for the first time this week after missing the Redskins game. King, who was limited, said he was day to day. "This was the next step, just trying to get out there and move around. It felt good," King said. ... The availability of Justin McCray (shoulder) for Sunday looks iffy after the starting right guard missed another practice. ... LB Nick Perry (concussion protocol) also missed practice.
