The Philadelphia Flyers are ramping up their efforts to find a suitor for centre Vincent Lecavalier. TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reported Thursday that Lecavaliers agent Kent Hughes has permission to speak to other teams regarding a trade for his client. Dreger adds that making a deal will be tough for the Flyers in the days leading up to July 1, as Lecavalier is owed a $2 million bonus on that date. Dreger reported earlier this month that Lecavalier was in play in the trade market, though he has a no-move clause in his contract. The 34-year-old scored 20 goals and added 17 assists with a minus-16 rating in his first season with the Flyers. Lecavalier spent the first 14 years of his career with the Tampa Bay Lightning before the club bought him out after the 2012-2013 season. The Flyers signed him to a five-year contract with an average annual value of $4.5 million. He has 403 goals and 508 assists for 911 points in 1106 career games with the Lightning and Flyers. Lecavalier won a Stanley Cup with Tampa Bay in 2004 and the Maurice Richard Trophy as the NHLs top goal scorer in 2007. Lecavalier was selected by the Lightning first overall in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Stitched Jerseys .
