The Bills last faced the Patriots on a Monday night during the 2015 season, suffering a 20-13 loss on Nov. 23, 2015. These two teams are heading in opposite directions, with the Bills struggling to score points (ranked last in the league in scoring offense, 11.6 points per game), while the Patriots are averaging 39.3 points per game during a four-game winning streak and find themselves in a familiar place: alone in first place in the AFC East.During his NFL career, QB Tom Brady has terrorized the Bills, and brings a 28-3 record against Buffalo into the MNF game. Brady is once again playing at an MVP level for the Patriots. The key to a Bills upset is to get pressure on Brady, and for Bills fans, hopefully the defense will return to its Week 6 form (sacking Deshaun Watson seven times) compared to Week 7, when it recorded zero sacks and allowed Andrew Luck to toss four touchdown passes. This will be the 117th meeting all-time between former American Football League rivals. Rapoport’s latest tweet updates therumors regarding McCoy.Rumors surfaced that the Philadelphia Eagles were interested in trading for McCoy after the season-ending to Jay Ajayi, and that the two clubs had conversations over compensation for the Pro Bowl running back. According to Rapoport, the Bills are asking for a second round pick and additional assets for McCoy. It is a situation worth monitoring for Bills fans, as things could change if the team is out of playoff contention leading up to the trade deadline. However, Rapoport believes that the Bills are unlikely to move McCoy this year or next. If the Bills were to trade McCoy, they would be left with Chris Ivory, Marcus Murphy, and Taiwan Jones at running back. Ivory has flashed the ability to produce in McCoy’s absence this season, and he would likely become the immediate starter should a trade take place.
