BANGKOK Nike Epic React Flyknit Women's Pink Red , Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Former Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra Thursday called on her supporters to stay at home to cheer for her tomorrow instead of gathering in front of the Supreme Court.


Yingluck thanked her fans for their concerns and sympathy on troubles she was suffering from, saying through her social media account that she would like her supporters to follow the verdict of her rice-pledging case at home on Friday to avoid "unexpected disturbance."


She told her supporters that this time would not be the same as previous times as they could no longer greet and meet her amid the government's tightened security.


Yingluck was charged with criminal negligence in implementing a rice subsidy program. The Supreme Court will give a verdict over her rice pledging scheme on Friday. If found guilty, she may face up to a 10-year jail term.


The government will deploy about 4,000 police, supported by 20 riot-control vehicles around the court's compound. It's estimated that about 3,000 Yingluck's fans would turn up.


Traffic near the Supreme Court's Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions will be closely regulated.


Due to expectations of a huge crowd on Friday, the government has called on Yingluck's supporters to refrain from causing any chaos or violating the law, and have prohibited organized mobilization.

BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- China on Monday said it hoped that the Republic of Korea (ROK) would fulfill its commitment not to increasing deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile defense system.


ROK Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha told lawmakers Monday that the ROK was not considering any additional THAAD deployment.


Kang said the country would not participate in the U.S.-led missile defense networks.


She also stressed that trilateral security cooperation between Seoul, Washington and Tokyo would not extend to a military alliance. The U.S. military has installed a THAAD battery that includes six missile launchers in the southeastern ROK county of Seongju.


"We value these three aspects of the ROK pledges," Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying told a regular press briefing.


Hua reiterated that China firmly opposed the deployment of THAAD in the ROK.


She said China hoped that the ROK would fulfill its commitments and deal with the relevant problems, so as to get China-ROK ties back on track.

The original advertisement became the target of regulators' crackdown for overhyping the effects of the shampoo after it was broadcast in 2004.


"Duang" has now became one of the hottest hashtags on Sina Weibo, a Twitter-like Chinese social networking site amid a frenzy of posts imitating Jackie Chan's speech in different scenarios.


The actor's Weibo account was flooded with comments containing the word in this sweeping online trend.


The video came at a time when the renowned movie star has been under public scrutiny after trying to salvage the drug scandal-tainted image of his son, Jaycee Chan, who was released from prison this week.


Data from Baidu also proved the phrase's popularity as it has been searched more than 586,000 times as of Thursday on the major Chinese search engine.
