A lot of expensive lace wigs are damaged because of careless or wrong installation instruction, it’s not a necessary cost for freshmen and easy to avoid. Here we share the lace wig installation steps.

Step 1: Preparation

The wigs have a flesh-colored wig cap, we'd better tie up hair before using the wig cap. If the hair is not very long, we can tie it up directly; if the hair is very long, it is recommended to braid the hair first, fix it on the scalp with a hairpin, then put the wig cap on it.
Apply adhesive with the brush to areas where the wig will attach, use the cool air setting, blow-dry the adhesive for about 30 seconds,
put the front part of the wig on your forehead, press firmly with both hands for at least 1 minute, attach the sides to the matching areas on your scalp, and press firmly again for another minute.

Step 2: Trim wig's lace
Trim lace of the wig is only necessary when using the wig for the first time. If the manufacturer has trimmed the lace, it is not necessary. To trim the lace, wear a wig on your head. Use hair clips to fasten the wig hair back away from your scalp line. Trim any lace that sticks out past the affordable hair bundles hairline using a pair of sharp scissors. Cut small amounts of lace at a time to avoid accidentally cutting too much. Be careful not to cut any of the wig hair. Leave a little bit of lace sticking out past the wig hairline, but no more than 1 inch.

Step 3: Protect your skin
Clean the skin along your hairline with a cotton ball dampened with isopropyl alcohol to remove body oils that could prevent the ombre bundles with closure adhesive from sticking properly. Meanwhile, if you have sensitive skin, it's necessary to apply a scalp protector to the skin among your hairline.

Step 4: Apply adhesive
Use fingers to apply your favorite edge control product or gel to lay down your edges to perfection. If using adhesive glue, apply a thin layer to the entire hairline using a small makeup brush or cosmetic stick. If using a soft bond adhesive, don't apply the wig immediately. Wait until the glue has become tacky. If using a hard bond adhesive, the wig can be applied immediately as this type of glue bonds.

Step 5: Wear wigs
Put on your frontal wigs on your head. There are some clips as well as an adjustable strap in the wig cap. You can make it tighter just depending on your head. Take the back of the wig and just put it on. Holding the front down, then you can start to pull it back toward the back of your head. Make sure not to pull too tight! Those attaching a wig with glue should start by attaching the wig at the hairline in the front middle of the forehead. Gently press the edge of the wig down against the glued skin, working around the hairline until it is attached around the entire hairline.
