Arriving in both a Vans Shoes Women and a black colorway, the shoe may be an Authentic in its name, but it’s much more Vans Slip-On in its stylings, discarding the standard lacing system in favor of three knotted fabric strips inspired by the ties that are found on on traditional kung fu tops. A co-branded cup insole ensures long-lasting comfort no matter if you’re kicking in the dojo or pushing on your skateboard, and the midsole features a playful printed detail that translates to “Acho Oo O.” Vulcanized rubber soles then complete the look.
Vans Shoes Sale their latest plaid rendition of the Authentic, an original and now iconic everyday silhouette. This iteration of the Vans Authentic features a mix of two different plaid materials on its canvas upper. Other details includes metal eyelets, Vans flag label atop its signature Gum waffle outsole.
Japan’s Whimsy is teaming up with Vans Shoes Black to design and release two new vibrant colorways of the Vans Authentic. The first collaborative colorway of the Vans Authentic takes on a black upper with canvas detailing on the side panels and heel of the shoe while a shiny/glossy leather placed on the toe. The shoe is then finished off with a bright green rubber sole unit. The second pair takes on the same construction on the upper but in white along with a light blue rubber sole unit. Both pairs are then finished off with red accents on the side panel labels, the tongue, and the heel.
Leading the collaboration are two pairs of reworked Vans Authentic Shadow Grey/True White. The lighter colorway has an upper that’s separated into two tones – a white canvas top and a textured forefoot panel that holds a slightly cream-colored tone. Detailed with red accents at the heel, tongue and side tab, the sneaker is complete with a contrasting baby blue midsole. The darker colorway comes with black canvas at the top and leather at the forefoot panel. A bright neon midsole and heel stay add a bold highlight element to the footwear piece.
