CHICAGO -- Lloyd McClendon tried to remember each of the five relievers who pitched so well as Saturday afternoons game stretched into the early evening. Clearance Nike Shox . The manager of the Seattle Mariners gave up after a brief moment. It was enough to know they each had a scoreless outing. Brad Miller hit an RBI double in the 14th inning and Fernando Rodney earned his AL-best 25th save, leading Seattle to a 3-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox. "Each and every one of them came in, threw the ball extremely well," McClendon said of his bullpen, and then added with a chuckle, "I cant even remember who all pitched it was so long ago." Yoervis Medina, Charlie Furbush, Danny Farquhar, Tom Wilhelmsen (1-1) and Rodney combined for six innings of one-hit relief. Farquhar got five outs and Wilhelmsen pitched two innings. "Battle of the bullpens there, some good arms being run out, and we just kept fighting," Miller said. Michael Saunders reached on an infield single against Ronald Belisario (3-5) and swiped second before Miller hit a drive into the gap in left-centre for a ground-rule double. It was Millers first hit in six at-bats on the day. "A lot of character and a lot of grind today," Saunders said. Saunders and Logan Morrison had three hits apiece for Seattle, which has won five of six and 11 of 14 overall. Felix Hernandez pitched eight sharp innings to help the Mariners bounce back from Friday nights 7-1 loss in the series opener. Chicago managed only four hits while wasting another strong start by Jose Quintana, who struck out 10 in 7 2-3 innings. "When you play 14 innings and only get four hits obviously theyre doing something right," second baseman Gordon Beckham said. "Long day." The game was scoreless before the White Sox pushed across two runs in the eighth against Hernandez, who had gone 7-1 in his previous 10 starts. Conor Gillaspie had a leadoff triple and scored on Dayan Viciedos double. Tyler Flowers added a sacrifice fly. Quintana allowed four hits and walked one in 7 2-3 scoreless innings. The 10 strikeouts matched a season high for the left-hander, who is 2-0 with a sparkling 0.94 ERA in his last four starts. "I throw my pitches in the count, throw both sides, getting ahead in the count - it (becomes) more important inning by inning," Quintana said. "I keep going with that, its the best thing for long games for me." Chicago was in line for its second straight win against Seattle before the Mariners rallied in the ninth. Mike Zunino had a sacrifice fly against Zach Putnam before consecutive two-out singles by Morrison and Saunders produced the tying run. Morrisons grounder went off the glove of diving first baseman Jose Abreu and bounced past Beckham on the way to right field. Hernandez allowed three hits, struck out eight and walked one. The 2010 AL Cy Young Award winner is 1-5 with a 4.50 ERA in nine career starts at the White Sox. "He did a great job today and kept us in the ballgame the entire way through," Saunders said. Hernandez and Quintana were locked in an impressive duel before the late scoring. Quintana struck out six while retiring his first 11 batters, including the side in the second. Robinson Cano had a two-out single for Seattles first baserunner in the fourth, but Quintana fanned Corey Hart to end the inning. Hernandez was just as dominant, retiring 11 in a row after Adam Eatons leadoff single in the first. He also set down 10 in a row in another impressive stretch. Hernandez got some help from his defence. James Jones crashed into wall in centre to rob Abreu of extra bases in the fourth, and left fielder Willie Bloomquist made a leaping grab on the warning track on Viciedos drive in the fifth. The White Sox had their own defensive gem in the 11th inning when Adam Eaton reached back to grab Morrisons leadoff drive while slamming into the wall in centre. NOTES: Quintana also had 10 strikeouts in a no-decision against Detroit on April 29. His career high is 11, set last July 4 against Baltimore. ... McClendon said LHP James Paxton threw "extremely well" during his bullpen session on Friday. Paxton is on the 60-day DL with a left lat dorsi muscle strain. ... OF Cole Gillespie, who designed for assignment by Seattle on Friday, was claimed off waivers by Toronto. ... In the previous competition, he was the best goalkeeper of the tournament. Today, was not his day ... but the defenders also did not help him.We were focused, we have to look and have to search for the reason for losing this game.Despite the Qatar errors, the UAE fully deserved the win and started well with Khalil and Mabkhout both shooting wide from close range in the opening 10 minutes. It was Qatar, however, which took the lead midway through the first half. Majed Naser blocked an initial shot from Mohammed Muntari but Khalfan Ibrahim, positioned on the edge of the area, chested the ball down and lobbed it back beautifully over the head of the retreating UAE goalkeeper. That wass as good as it got for Qatar, tipped by many as potential contender at this tournament. Nike Shox Cheap Wholesale. The UAE equalized nine minutes before the break when Qasem spilled a cross and, after a scramble in a crowded area, a defensive goal-line clearance from a Khalil header bounced off the strikers chest and into the net.Khalils free kick early in the second half deceived Qasem and bounced into the far corner of the Qatari goal. Another set piece ended the game as a contest.Khamis Esmaeels well-struck free kick was parried by the Qatari goalkeeper into the path of Mabkhout, who scored into an empty net from close range. The striker added another goal in the 89th, ensuring the UAE scored four goals in an Asian Cup game for the first time.Im very happy with this win, said UAE coach Mahdi Ali. I was sure that the players would do their best and would play a good game. We worked hard for this as this was the key game for us. Kerber was leading 6-2, 4-3 against last years runner-up. Caroline Wozniacki, who withdrew ahead of the Brisbane tournament after injuring her shoulder in practice, confirmed her engagement to golf star Rory McIlroy earlier Wednesday, posting photos of the couple and the ring on Twitter. It was no surprise to Azarenka, who said shed predicted the engagement last year at the Brisbane International. "Im really happy for her. If she will remember, I called it last year when I saw her in the locker room," Azarenka said. "I said, Youll be engaged by the end of the year. Technically, I was right. Discount Air Max Plus .Y. - Tom Brady and the New England Patriots maintained their mastery of the AFC East and returned to the top spot in the NFL.The Patriots clinched the division for the 11th time in 12 years with Sundays 41-13 rout of the Miami Dolphins.New England (11-3) received nine of 12 first-place votes Tuesday in the AP Pro32 power rankings, which are decided by a media panel that regularly covers the league.Remember when Tom Brady was in decline and the 2-2 Patriots were about to lose control of the AFC East? So much for that, Newsdays Bob Glauber said.Brady has 28 TDs and six INTs since his uneven start, and the Pats have won nine of their last 10 to win another AFC East title and earn the inside track on home-field advantage in the conference playoffs. The Seattle Seahawks (10-4) got the other three first-place votes and moved up a spot to No. 2 after their 17-7 win over the San Francisco 49ers.The Seahawks face NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals (11-4) on Sunday night. The Cardinals moved up a spot to No. 5.The Cardinals have played four quarterbacks this season, and their defence has been ravaged with injuries, but they still sewed up their first playoff berth since 2009. Even if New Englands offence stumbles a bit out of the gate, their defence can help them stay in games, especially in the AFC East with the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets in the first two weeks. http://www.clearanceairmaxplus.com/ .Y. - Major League Soccer is prepared to start its season this weekend even if there isnt a labour deal with its referees and other on-field officials.MIAMI -- LeBron James watched from the bench in a stylish grey suit, and with the game deadlocked at halftime, he took off his necktie. Soon the tie on the scoreboard was gone, too. Stout defence plus Chris Boshs outside shooting and a boost from Miamis reserves helped the Heat overcome the absence of their MVP on Sunday to beat the Chicago Bulls 93-79. "We were missing a pretty big man," Dwyane Wade said. "Theres nothing we can do to replace the best player in the world, but we just had to go out there and play team basketball on both ends of the floor." James was a late scratch after he broke his nose in Thursdays win at Oklahoma City, and his teammates picked up the slack. Former NBA No. 1 draft pick Greg Oden replaced James for his first NBA start since December 2009, and reserves Chris Andersen, Michael Beasley and Ray Allen helped the Heat pull away in the second half. "You dont want to see guys out," said coach Erik Spoelstra, who earned his 300th career victory. "But when guys are out, Im always curious to see how you respond as a team. Weve have several of these games that could have been excuse games, but guys have stepped up." Bosh tied a career high with four 3-pointers and had 28 points and 10 rebounds. Wade added 23 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, while Mario Chalmers contributed 12 points and nine assists. Defence did the rest against the offensively challenged Bulls. "Were starting to put it together defensively," Bosh said. "We got off to a slow start early in the season, but I think right now were starting to get it, starting to click." Like the Heat, the Bulls were also short-handed, with starter Jimmy Butler a late scratch because of bruised ribs. They shot 36 per cent, went 6 for 21 from 3-point range and were called for a 24-second violation at least six times, including twice in a row. "We werent playing with a good enough thrust," guard Kirk Hinrich said. "We were slow getting into our stuff. We didnt make quick decisions, and we got stuck fighting the clock." Joakim Noah had 20 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks for the Bulls, who had won five in a row. "Those guys have ended our seasons a lot," Noah said. "Youve got to hate playing those guys, and every time we play them our intensity has to be high. We did it in spurts, it wasnt good tthe whole time, and thats whats disappointing. Cheap Air Max Plus China. " Miami, playing at home for the first time in 20 days, extended its winning streak to five games. Wade sealed the victory by sinking a jumper with less than three minutes left, giving the Heat their first 18-point lead. Earlier two of his points came on free throws after he improvised a backward somersault when fouled hard in the lane. Otherwise there werent a lot of acrobatics from the typically high-flying Heat, who shot 42 per cent and had only seven fast-break points. Contributing to the workmanlike effort was the 7-foot Oden, playing his 11th game after being sidelined by knee trouble for 3 1/2 years. He had five points and five rebounds in 13 minutes. "Greg was great," Spoelstra said. "Hes an active player for somebody that big, and hes very intelligent. He has a good grasp of what we want to do." The stoic Oden shrugged off the milestone of returning to the starting lineup. "Im starting to feel a little more comfortable out there, and I think guys are starting to feel more comfortable with me," he said. "Its something we can build on. Being able to put me in that starting lineup showed some confidence in me." James, missing a game for only the second time this season, drew a big ovation when he was shown on the video scoreboard during an early timeout. During another timeout in the fourth quarter, when the Heat had built a big cushion, he danced to music blaring over the public address system while his teammates huddled. They scored on seven consecutive possessions during a 16-2 run at the end of the third quarter that put them ahead 65-52. The catalysts were unlikely: In quick succession, Andersen dunked on an alley-oop, Allen hit a runner and Beasley banked home a basket. "It doesnt matter if LeBrons out," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "Theyre a good team. That team has other players. Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade -- those are All-Stars, too. The bench is deep. Thats a championship team." NOTES: Spoelstra earned his 300th victory in his 448th game. Only five coaches reached the milestone more quickly, including his boss, Pat Riley, who did it the fastest at 416 games. ... Wades seven offensive rebounds were a career high. ... Gutierrez had three of Seattles six hits in his third game back from the disabled list. He has played just 20 games this season because of hamstring issues, and missed more than 50 games in each of the previous two seasons with a variety of injuries. "Im just happy to be here," he said. "I just came to try to help my team. Ive been missing a lot of games due to injuries. It feels good to come back, see the ball better, swing and help my team today." Franklin put the Mariners on top with his one-out homer off Jordan Lyles (6-7) in the first inning. Raul Ibanez reached on a leadoff single in the fourth and Gutierrez connected with one out, hitting a drive to left to push Seattles lead to 3-0. He has seven homers in just 73 at-bats this season. "Ive been working on my strength to use a little bit more of my legs," he said. "When you use your legs you can hit the ball better and with power. So as soon as you put a good swing on the ball anything can happen." It was Seattles first win since Wedge returned to the team on Friday after missing about a month following a mild stroke. "Its been about a month and a half," Wedge said of being part of a win. "I (said) when I was walking on the field that its been about a month and a half since I shook hands on the field for multiple reasons. It felt good to get out there and shake hands." "We had a few opportunities to get some runs there," Wallace said. "In those situations, you have to do everything you can to try to get the guys in. They made some good pitches when they had to. A couple opportunities that we left out there and those are the ones that you cant give away." Lyles retired eight of the last nine batters he faced after the homer by Gutierrez, with the only baserunner coming when Justin Smoak reached on an error by right fielder Hoes with two outs in the sixth. EDMONTON -- The Colorado Avalanche are looking quite ready to start the post-season. Scarpe Asics Saldi . Erik Johnson led the way with a goal and an assist as the Avalanche gave themselves some breathing room in the playoff picture with a 4-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday. Paul Stastny, Jamie McGinn and Tyson Barrie also scored for the Avalanche (51-21-7) who have gone 7-0-1 in their last eight games. "We played the type of game that we need to play in the playoffs," said Colorado goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere." It didnt matter that we were playing a team that is out of it. We stuck to our game and I was really impressed with the way we played, its a really good time for our team." The win gave Colorado a four-point cushion over the idle Chicago Blackhawks for second place in the Central Division and two points up on the San Jose Sharks for third in the Western Conference. The Avs remained four points back of division-leading St. Louis. "I think we just want to keep winning," said Stastny. "We want to get home ice. Whether we catch St. Louis or not, we just want to keep moving forward. If Chicago wins again, we have to win again to guarantee home ice for at least one run. But were not looking that far ahead, were just looking at the next game. We just have to keep playing well." The Avalanche set a team record for road wins with the victory, improving to 25-10-3 away from Denver. David Perron replied for the 28th place Oilers (28-43-9) who saw a two-game winning streak come to an end. "It was a small step backwards tonight," said Oilers defenceman Jeff Petry. "We werent sharp from the beginning of the game on. We werent making tape-to-tape passes or catching passes. We were just a little bit off tonight." Oilers head coach Dallas Eakins thought it was more than just a little off, especially in light of some of their efforts against top teams of late. "It was perplexing to say the least," he said. "On our last road trip and our last game here against Anaheim, we were dialled in, each and every guy. Tonight we just couldnt get our legs and get into the rhythm of the game. The biggest thing for me was it was almost like we couldnt work because we couldnt make two passes in a row. Our execution was just terrible tonight." Colorado started the scoring four minutes into the game after Stastny swatted the puck in through the legs of an Edmonton defender from the side of the net after goalie Ben Scrivens had made the initial stop on Gabriel Landeskog. It was Stastnys 23rd goal of the season. The Oilers tied the game on the power play with three minutes to play in the opening frame as Perron banked the puck off the skate of defenceman Nick Holden and past Giguere. It was Perrons team-leading 28th goal of the year. However, the Avalanche restored their lead just 12 seconds later as Johnson walked past Petry and beat Scrivens up high. "That was a huge boot right in the you-know-what," Eakins said. "You arent going great and you get a goal that livens your bench and they barely drop the puck and bang, it is in the back of your net." Johnson knew it was a pivotal goal. "It was right after they scored a power-play goal, the first shift after," Johnson said. "I just wanted to make sure first and foremost we got the puck in deep. I had some speed and made a move and it was fun to make a play like that and score a goal like that at this level. "We controlled the pace of the game the entire game after that goal, I thought." Both goalies were solid in the scoreless second period, particularly Scrivens, who came across to make a huge toe save on Stastny after a bad bounce off the glass with two minutes left. The shots favoured Colorado 23-19 through 40 minutes. The Avalanche came into the game with a record of 34-0-2 when leading after two periods. Colorado took a 3-1 lead seven-and-a-half minutes into the third on a power-play goal as Barrie came in from the point and took a shot through traffic that beat Scrivens high to the glove side. The Avalanche made it 4-1 with just under four minutes left to play as McGinn smacked the puck into the net before Ryan Nugent-Hopkins could clear it for his 19th of the year. Both teams return to the ice on Thursday as the Oilers play the third game of a season-ending four game homestand against the Los Angeles Kings. The Avs are on the road for their final four matchers, playing the second of a four game trip in Vancouver against the Canucks. Notes: It was the third and final meeting between the two teams this season. Edmonton started out with a huge 8-2 win over the Avalanche on Dec. 5, however the Avs bounced back with a 4-3 win two weeks later in Coloradoa Colorado is one of the few teams that the Oilers have had much success against in recent years, coming into the game with a record of 12-4-4 in their last 20 games against the Avalanchea Oilers forward Taylor Hall came into the game on a high note, having earned the NHLs first star status on Monday for his play last week. Hall potted two goals and added seven assists in four games to collect the honoura Out with injuries for the Avalanche were forwards Cody McLeod (ankle), P.A .Parenteau (knee) and Matt Duchene (knee)a Absent from the Oilers lineup were forwards Jesse Joensuu (ankle), Tyler Pitlick (knee), Ryan Jones (torn PCL), Luke Gazdic (shoulder), Nail Yakupov (ankle) and defenceman Andrew Ference (chest). KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- President Barack Obama said Sunday that comments reportedly made by the owner of a U.S. pro basketball team are "incredibly offensive racist statements," before casting them as part of a continuing legacy of slavery and segregation that Americans must confront. "When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you dont really have to do anything, you just let them talk," Obama said when asked to respond to the reported comments from Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Obamas description of the controversy as part of a larger historical context is the latest example of his continuing willingness to expound on matters of race in his second term. After avoiding much mention of race relations during his campaign to become the first black president and in his first term, the president last summer offered a personal reflection in response to the shooting of black teenager Trayvon Martin. And now Obama has spoken out against an audio recording of a man identified as Sterling telling his girlfriend not to bring black people to games. The firestorm over Sterlings comments has quickly engulfed the National Basketball Association. Obama cast the comments through a broader prism of racism in America, adding that "we constantly have to be on guard on racial attitudes that divide us rather than embracing our diversity as a strength." "The United States continues to wrestle with the legacy of race and slavery and segregattion, thats still there, the vestiges of discrimination," Obama said during a news conference in Malaysia, where he was travelling. Scarpe Asics Uomo Scontate. "Weve made enormous strides, but youre going to continue to see this percolate up every so often," he added. "And I think that we just have to be clear and steady in denouncing it, teaching our children differently, but also remaining hopeful that part of why statements like this stand out some much is because there has been this shift in how we view ourselves." In the recording attributed to Sterling recording and posted on the website TMZ, a male voice questions his girlfriends association with minorities. TMZ reported the woman, V. Stiviano, is of black and Mexican descent. The man asks Stiviano not to broadcast her association with black people or bring black people to games. The man specifically mentions Lakers Hall of Famer Magic Johnson on the recording, saying, "Dont bring him to my games, OK?" Obama said hes confident NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will address the matter. He said the NBA has "an awful lot of African American players, its steeped in African American culture. And I suspect that the NBA is going to be deeply concerned in resolving this." Silver had said the NBA needs to confirm authenticity of the audio tape and interview both Sterling and the woman in the recording. He called the tape "disturbing and offensive" and promised to investigate quickly. It was a long-awaited rematch for Xavier, (20-9, 10-6), which lost one of the Big Easts most wide-open games at Creighton in January. Martin led the way. The junior guard helped Xavier control the tempo and build a 13-point lead early in the second half that was more than enough. Creighton (23-5, 13-3) couldnt catch up despite 27 points by Doug McDermott, who leads the nation in scoring. McDermott had 35 points during the Bluejays 95-89 win at home on Jan. 12, a game that showed the reconfigured Big East was a whole different conference. Xavier had more going for it in the rematch. Semaj Christon scored 21 points, Dee Davis added 15, and the Musketeers shot 50 per cent from the field. Xavier got its first victory over a Top 10 team since it beat No. 8 Indiana 80-65 on Nov. 24, 2007. Right after their loss at Creighton in January, several Musketeers said they couldnt wait for the rematch. Xavier sold standing-room tickets for the first time in the Cintas Centers 14 seasons, resulting in a record crowd of 10,483. Xavier led for most of the first half, pushing the lead to six points on several occasions. The Musketeers built it to double-digits with a seven-point run that featured Davis 3-pointer and a pair of baskets by Christon, making it 41-30 with 2:22 left in the half. The Mussketeers took a 43-34 lead into halftime despite not shooting a free throw. Fran Tarkenton Jersey. Instead, the Musketeers shot 57.6 per cent from the field and went 5 of 6 from beyond the arc. Martin led the way, getting nine points and matching his career high with 12 rebounds. Martin came out aggressive again to start the second half. He hit a pair of 3s and Xaviers first two free throws for a 54-42 lead with 15:49 left. At that point, Xavier was 8 of 10 from beyond the arc, with Creighton more concerned about stopping drives to the basket. Christon fell down while nearly getting a steal, got up and swiped Creightons next pass and was fouled as he headed for the basket, bringing the crowd to its feet. His free throw gave Xavier a 13-point lead. Creighton couldnt make any headway as Xavier controlled the boards and pushed the pace for layups. McDermott scored 11 points in the first 7 minutes of the half, but nobody else hit any shots consistently. Xavier finally hit a cold spell, and Creighton took advantage with a 10-2 spurt. McDermotts fall-away 3-pointer cut it to 61-58 with 5:18 to go, prompting a Xavier timeout. Davis made an uncontested 3, and Jalen Reynolds drove for a lay-in that rebuilt the lead to 68-60. Creighton never got closer than five points the rest of the way. Creighton redshirt freshman guard Isaiah Zierden went down hard on a fast-break play in the first half and hurt his right knee. Shawn Horcoff cut the deficit in half when he beat Chad Johnson only 23 seconds after Nielsens second tally but the native of Denmark capped the night on an empty netter with one-tenth of a second left. Anders Lee, Nikolay Kulemin, Brock Nelson and Lubomir Visnovsky each added a goal for New York, which has won two straight on the heels of a two-game skid. Johnson made 26 saves in the win for the Metropolitan Division leaders. Final Score: Pittsburgh 3, Nashville 0 Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Sidney Crosby scored his fifth goal of the season and Marc-Andre Fleury was stellar between the pipes as the Pittsburgh Penguins blanked the Nashville Predators, 3-0, on Saturday. Crosbys first- period tally was all Pittsburgh needed, as Fleury turned away all 25 shots he faced. Evgeni Malkin and Pascal Dupuis scored insurance goals for the Penguins, who ended a brief two-game slide. Pekka Rinne allowed all three goals on 26 shots as Nashville fell in regulation for the first time this season. Final Score: Minnesota 7, Tampa Bay 2 St. Paul, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Jason Zucker netted two goals and the Minnesota Wild cruised past the Tampa Bay Lightning, 7-2, on Saturday. Darcy Kuemper, fresh off his third shutout of the season in Thursdays win over Arizona, only needed to make 17 saves in the blowout victory. The Saints have exceeded expectations in the early going of the campaign following a massive exodus during the summer, rallying for a second-place position despite being tipped by many as relegation favorites. But Southampton has yet to compete against any club inside the top four, making Sundays clash a bit of a statement game for Ronald Koemans men. The club is unbeaten in its last five Premier League outings, but the hosts will face a City side that has been revived by a dramatic win in Champions League play on Tuesday. The Citizens, who enter the weekend in third place in the English top flight, were sputtering in Europe until Sergio Aguero netted two late goals against Bayern Munich at the Etihad to keep their Champions League hopes alive with a 3-2 victory. Aguero has become Citys talisman as his 12 Premier League goals put him atop the scoring chart. The Argentine will hope to keep rolling at St. Marys knowing that a win for City would put the reigning champions on 27 points through 13 games, one point better than Southampton. Chelsea, however, continues to set the pace in the Premier League, entering the weekend on 32 points. The Blues have yet to lose a match in leaguue play this term, and its a streak that figures to continue this weekend as they will travel to the Stadium of Light to face lowly Sunderland on Saturday. The Gunners will hope to turn around their league campaign on Saturday with a positive result at West Bromwich Albion. Liverpool has experienced a similar string of events in recent months, struggling massively in league play before claiming a vital Champions League victory midweek. The Reds will attempt to snap a three-game Premier League slide on Saturday when they play host to Stoke City at Anfield. Rounding out Saturdays action, Leicester City will head to Loftus Road to face QPR, Crystal Palace will take on Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium and West Ham United will welcome surging Newcastle to Upton Park. Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor took up an interesting position and almost gifted LA Rams a crucial turnover on Sunday. Scarpe Salomon a Poco Prezzo . Quarterbacks are the driving force of their team, they should know where everyone is and where they are going, and crucially where the ball, the play or the drive is going. However, on this occasion Taylor seemed to forget the most important aspect of all, where he needed to be himself! Hit play on the video above to see Taylor take up a strange-looking position as he waits for the snap, mistakenly lining up behind the appropriately named Left Guard Richie Incognito rather than Centre Eric Wood.Trailing 0-3 at the LA Coliseum, the Bills lined up just outside their own 30-yard line, but when Wood snapped Taylor realised he was out of position and made the recovery to ensure his team kept possession, suffering a loss of yards rather than anything more costly.Taylor and the Bills put the early problems behind them to improve to 3-2 for the season with a 30-19 victory over the Rams and they sit just behind the New England Patriots in the AFC East. A police inspector told The Associated Press the crane operator is not yet suspected of any wrongdoing but is considered a key witness to the accident at the Arena Corinthians.OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Thunder showed Wednesday night that they dont always need to have Kevin Durant score in the fourth quarter to win a close game. Durant scored just two of his 26 points in the final 12 minutes and his teammates -- including Derek Fisher, Jeremy Lamb and Reggie Jackson -- stood in the gap, helping Oklahoma City pull away for a 106-97 win over a Minnesota Timberwolves team without Kevin Love and two other starters. Jackson added 20 points (seven in the fourth quarter) and nine assists for the Thunder, who won for the 12th time in their last 13 games and became the NBAs first team this season to 40 wins. The Thunder won for the ninth straight time at home against Minnesota, which entered the game 3 1/2 games behind Dallas in the race for the eighth and final playoff spot from the Western Conference. The Thunder have won eight straight home games and are 15-1 this season against Western Conference foes at Chesapeake Energy Arena. "We just focus on doing our job every night and living with the results and theyve been pretty good for a while now," Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks said. "We have expectations to a standard that we want to play at and I think weve done a good job with that going into the All-Star break. "This is funky time for a lot of teams because a lot of players are probably thinking about the break and what theyre doing, getting their plans together. Weve never been a team that has done that and I dont anticipate that happening this year." Love, an All-Star forward, sat out with a stiff neck after taking a hard fall Tuesday in a win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Center Nikola Pecovic (ankle injury) and forward Corey Brewer (family leave) also didnt play for the Timberwolves. Minnesota coach Rick Adelman said he was proud of the way his undermanned team fought. "I think it shows that these guys compete," Adelman said. "They werent afraid to go play them with three starters out. It gave the other guys an opportunity to play. I couldnt be prouder of the way they competed. We just ran a little bit out of gas at the end." With Minnesota devoting its defensive energies to stopping Durant, other Thunder players made the key plays in the final minutes. The score was tied in the closing seconds of the third quarter when Fisher attempted a 3-pointer from the corner that appeared to be long, but Minnesotas Gorgui Dieng accidentally tapped it into the basket to give the Thunder an 80-77 lead. Fisher finished with 13 points, his second-best offensive outing of the season. "Ive never seen that before," Durant said of the goaltending call on Dieng. "That guy is a rookie . so Im sure hes going to learn from that one. BBut that gave us a boost and at the start of the fourth those guys came out and played extremely hard and thats what we needed. The Thunder finished off the 16-4 run with a dunk by Lamb with 7:17 left that made it 93-81, but Oklahoma City suddenly went cold from the field. Durant was called for a technical foul with 4:39 left after protesting a no-call, but Ricky Rubio missed the ensuing free throw, leaving the score at 93-86. Minnesota pulled within 95-89 after a 3-pointer by Robbie Hummel with 3:45 left, but the Timberwolves came no closer. "We came into the game aggressive and we fought all the way through, but in the last five minutes, I think we missed too many free throws and easy shots while they made shots at the end," said Rubio, who had 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Thabo Sefolosha, who missed his first seven 3-point attempts, made one from the corner with 1:43 left to extend the Thunders lead to 100-90 and Minnesota came no closer than nine points the rest of the way. "Theyre NBA players, too," Durant said of his teammates. "Its not like Ive been scoring every point in the fourth. We play off each other. Guys hit big shots and we got stops. . We play a team game here." Durant, who also had nine rebounds and seven assists, continued his strong play against the Timberwolves. He had a triple-double in a home win over the Timberwolves on Dec. 1 and scored 48 points in a win at Minnesota on Jan. 4 before his outburst Wednesday. The Timberwolves led by as many as six points in the second quarter, but Oklahoma City took a 56-54 lead after Durant swished a 3-pointer at the buzzer. Durant had 16 points, six rebounds and five assists by halftime. Dante Cunningham added 18 points on 9-of-13 shooting for Minnesota. Serge Ibaka had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Thunder. BRISTOL, Conn. Cheap Air Jordan 13 Wholesale . -- Police believe former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez was in an SUV when someone inside shot two people to death in Boston in 2012, according to a search warrant filed in Connecticut. The warrant does not indicate who investigators believe pulled the trigger or suggest a motive in the shooting of Daniel Jorge Correia de Abreu and Safiro Teixeira Furtado in Bostons South End. No charges have been filed in the case. An attorney for Hernandez did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment Wednesday. Hernandez came under scrutiny in the shooting following his arrest in the slaying of Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional football player whose body was found June 17 near Hernandezs North Attleborough, Mass., home. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to murder in that case. In searching a home of Hernandezs uncle in Bristol, Conn., in June, police found the SUV wanted in the 2012 shooting in Boston. The new search warrant, first reported by The Hartford Courant, was filed in Bristol Superior Court and dated Dec. 11. It sought recordings of phone calls made by a Hernandez associate, Alexander Bradley, while Bradley was jailed in Hartford in October for failing to appear before a Massachusetts grand jury investigating the 2012 shooting. Bradley has alleged in a pending lawsuit in Florida that Hernandez shot him in the face after they argued outside a Miami club in February 2013. The search warrant filed by Bristol police provides some of the first details of Hernandezs alleged link to the Boston shooting. Surveillance camera recordings showed Hernandez and Bradley going into the Boston nightclub Cure at about 12:30 a.m. on July 16, 2012, shortly after the shooting victims went into the club, according to the warrant. Hernandezs movements inside the club werent recorded, but police said Hernandez quickly downed two drinks and that he and Bradley left after about 10 minutes. Surveillance video then showed Hernandez driving a Toyota 4Runner SUV out of a nearby parking garage with Bradley as a passenger, police said. The footage shows the victims leaving the club at about 2:10 a.m., and Hernandezs SUV passing by them twice as they walked to a parking garage to get their car, the warrant says. The shooting wasnt recorded by any cameras. A third man who was shot in the car but survived, Aquilino Freire, told police an SUV pulled up next to them while they were stopped at a traffic light, and he saw someone in the SUVs back seat laughing, the warrant says. Then, several gunshots were fired from the rear passenger seat into the car, Freire told police. Two other people in the car ran away, Freire said. A witness in another car told investigators that he saw an SUV with Rhode Island license plates run a red light, stop next to the victims car and he heard six gunshots. He described the SUV driver as a light-skinned Hispanic man with short dark hair. Another witness gave authorities the same description of the driver and said there was a passenger with hair that was either braided or had beads in it. The witness wasnt sure if the passenger was a man or woman. Hernandez has short dark hair, as does Bradley, according to police booking photos. When Bradley was being detained at the Hartford Correctional Center, he was informed that all phone calls by prisoners are subject to monitoring. An announcement repeated randomly during the phone calls tells both people on the call that it is being recorded, the warrant says. A correctional officer who was monitoring Bradleys calls alerted Bristol police that he believed Bradley discussed details of the Boston shooting in calls to people whom police did not identify. That led police to apply for the search warrant. They probably ruined Tim Duncans hopes of a career change, though. Duncan wants to be a point guard, coach Gregg Popovich revealed Saturday, a wish that wont be granted. But Duncan would gladly settle for another championship, and the Spurs would be halfway there by beating Miami on Sunday night in Game 2. The Spurs have won eight straight post-season home games by 15 or more points, an NBA record, but know as well as anyone that a one-game lead means nothing against the Heat. "Thats why I think we cant be satisfied," said point guard Tony Parker, who isnt worried about losing his job to Duncan. "Because we was in the same situation and we know they can win here, and so we just have to go out there and play our game and try to win this one. I think its a big game for the series." LeBron James expects to be fully ready for the Heat, who also dropped the opener last year in the finals against the Spurs, and in 2012 to Oklahoma City. Miami is 5-0 in series with James when dropping the opener, rebounding to win Game 2 every time. A 2-0 deficit would surely bring loads of unwanted attention to whats already one of the most scrutinized players and teams in sports. "Im sure the series would be over from the outside," Heat guard Dwyane Wade said, laughing. "Our focus is on how we can win ballgames and understand in the series its the first one to four; not the first one to one, not the first one to two, not the first one to three. You win a series by being the first one to four. We understand the journey, we understand the path and what it takes to get there." The Heat were in position to win Game 1 before James departed with cramps. The Spurs committed 23 turnovers that not only led to 28 Miami points but also prevented them from getting the ball more often to Duncan, who shot 9 of 10 from the field. Popovich said Duncan never demands more shots, even when he is in a good rhythm like he was Thursday. "No, the only thing Timmy has ever demanded is he wants to play the point and he thinks Ive held him back," Popoovich said. Air Jordan 13 Discount. "True story. He thinks hes a point guard." Duncan is one of the best power forwards in NBA history but likes to think like a little guy, though he realizes he hurt his chances of getting to actually play the part of one. "After my five turnovers the other night, I think I took a step back from that," he said. "I dont think that Im going to be able to step up and fill that role for a little while. But, no, I enjoy getting in the middle of the floor and making decisions and getting the ball to the right place, and thats what a point guards got to do." The Spurs dont need one, not after Parker looked healthy while posting 19 points and eight assists in the opener after missing the second half of the Western Conference finals clincher because of a sore left ankle. He laughed when told that Popovich and Duncan had brought up his teammates aspirations. "Are we still talking about that? I cant believe they brought it up in the NBA Finals," Parker said. "Its been a joke that Timmy thinks hes a great quarterback, that he can be a good passer. I disagree with that. I want to keep my spot." With Parker seemingly fine, James health remained the focus. He practiced Saturday and was still receiving treatments in hopes of preventing more cramping. It also should help that the air conditioning inside the AT&T Center has been repaired, but he wont be worrying about that, anyway. "You cant think about what may happen in the third or fourth quarter. Live in the moment," James said. "And for me, whatever I can give my teammates if it happens again, hopefully I can make an impact while Im on the floor and thats all that matters to me." The Spurs knocked James into a 2-0 hole in the 2007 finals, but that was when he was still in Cleveland. The team James is on now gets out of trouble just as quickly as it gets into it. "Thats why they are two-time champs," Parker said. "To win championships, you have to face adversity and come back from any situation, and theyve proved that over the years. Thats why its our job to stay focused and we know its just one game, and we know theyre capable to come back and win at our place." New York, NY (SportsNetwork. Cincinnati Bengals Jerseys .com) - Domantas Sabonis had 14 points and 10 rebounds and 10th-ranked Gonzaga held off St. Johns down the stretch to record a 73-66 victory and capture the NIT Season Tip-Off. Gary Bell Jr. added 13 points and Byron Wesley scored 12 to help the Bulldogs (6-0) remain undefeated with a hard-earned result in front of a pro-St. Johns crowd on the Red Storms home court of Madison Square Garden. The Red Storm whittled a 15-point second-half deficit down to three in the final minute and had a chance to tie it late. However, DAngelo Harrison was called for an offensive foul with Gonzaga clinging to a 69-66 lead with 15 seconds to play. Phil Greene IV sparked the Red Storms near-comeback by netting 13 of his 20 points after halftime. Rysheed Jordan finished with 18 points and Harrison had 15 for St. Johns (4-1). Gonzaga appeared well on its way to a sixth straight double-digit triumph to open the season after building a 56-41 lead with nine minutes left. The Bulldogs then got sloppy with the ball and missed several foul shots, however, and St. Johns capitalized to get back in it. The Red Storm put together an 11-2 run, during which Gonzaga had three giveaways and went 0-of-3 from the line, to pull within 58-52 with less than 5 1/2 minutes to play. The margin was slimmer when Greene canned a pair of 3- pointers around a Wesley layup, with the second cutting the lead to 69-66 with a minute remaining. Gonzaga came up empty on its ensuing trip down the court, but Kyle Dranginis denied Jordans baseline drive and the ball went out of bounds to the Bulldogs with 26.9 seconds showing. However, Greene pressured the inbounds pass, which landed off the right knee of Bell to give St. Johns possession with an opportunity to tie. Harrison dribbled into the lane but was whistled for pushing off, though, and Kevin Pangos hit two free throws on the other end to seal the outcome for Gonzaga. The Bulldogs committed 17 turnovers and were plagued by miscues early on, giving the ball away four times in the games first 3 1/2 minutes. They trailed 20-19 with 7:24 remaining in the opening half after 3-pointers by Jordan and Myles Stewart sparked an 8-2 Red Storm run. Gonzaga then asserted control via an 8-0 spurt that Sabonis capped with a run- out slam off a Pangos feed, and never trailed thereafter. The Bulldogs held a 33-26 lead late in the first half before Jordan capped a 13-point period with a layup that pulled St. Johns within five at the break. Greenes basket just over four minutes into the second half had the Red Storm down just 40-37, but St. Johns didnt hit another field goal for nearly six minutes as Gonzaga embarked on a 13-1 tear. Bell had six points during the surge, which Kyle Wiltjer capped with a layup to stake Gonzaga to a 53-38 advantage midway through the final period. St. Johns forward Chris Obekpa had just one point in 22 minutes before fouling out with 6:41 left ... And so began the impregnable mind-set that has spawned one of his generation’s most consistently perfect sportspeople. He is the greatest of all time, but I am the best of all time - its not that Van Gerwen doesnt have respect for Taylor, the elder statesman of the oche. But he makes it crystal clear that, while Taylor warrants credit for dragging darts onto a mainstream pedestal and reaping rewards along the way, the bar has now been dramatically raised.Perhaps Van Gerwen, the current world No 1, plays with the freedom of knowing that he will never match Taylors astonishing 16 world titles, the majority of which were achieved in the drastically different landscape of the 1990s. No, its not possible to win more, or become the greatest ever, because I cannot win 16 world titles, the 27-year-old exclusively told Sky Sports. I will be retired before. FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. Calvin Johnson Jersey . -- Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker Marquis Spruill will miss the season with a left knee injury. Coach Mike Smith said Thursday Spruill tore his anterior cruciate ligament late in Wednesdays practice. Spruill was on the field for several minutes before walking off with the help of trainers. The Falcons lost starter Sean Weatherspoon to a season-ending Achilles tendon injury in June. Spruill, a fifth-round pick from Syracuse, was a third-string linebacker on the teams first preseason depth chart. He was listed behind Joplo Bartu and rookie Prince Shembo. The depth chart was configured for a nickel defence. He likely would have been a top backup inside linebacker on a depth chart configured for a 3-4 scheme. Ameer Abdullah Jersey . Keys pulled off a 6-2, 6-4 win over Cornet in the first round of the Western & Southern Open on Monday. "I dont have many complaints about today," the 19-year-old American said. "I definitely played pretty well and stayed in my game for the most part. Theres obviously a couple of things that I still want to work on and have better for next round, but Im pretty happy with today." Cornet, who upset the top-ranked Williams in the third round at Wimbledon six weeks ago, was playing with an injured left leg that she said started bothering her during her second-round loss to Victoria Azarenka last Tuesday at the Rogers Cup in Montreal. "Thats not the reason I lost, but it didnt help," said the Frenchwoman, who lost to Keys earlier this year. "She was very aggressive, hitting all winners." LISBON, Portugal -- Cristiano Ronaldo sat out Portugals exhibition match against Greece on Saturday and his flair was sorely missed as the two World Cup-bound teams produced a tedious 0-0 draw. Stan Smith Offerta . The muted game at the National Stadium in Lisbon did little to brighten the hopes of the two European teams ahead of the tournament in Brazil that begins June 12. The under-strength Portuguese lacked a spark that could have translated their sporadic forward moves into goals. As well as Real Madrid star Ronaldo, who is recuperating from a series of leg injuries and sore muscles, Portugal felt the absence of playmaker Joao Moutinho in midfield and Pepe in the central defence. Greece, though initially fielding its strongest team, looked ordinary and rarely got out of first gear. "One situation we have to be prepared for is not having our regular players available," Portugal coach Paulo Bento said. "We paid the price of our lack of effectiveness in attack." Portugal will start the World Cup in Group G with Germany, Ghana and the United States. Greece is in Group C with Colombia, Japan and Ivory Coast. With Nani busy on the right flank as the Manchester United player tried to make his mark after an injury-hit league season, Portugals best chances came in the first 10 minutes as Greek goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis tipped over a Bruno Alves header and dived low to his right to deny Ricardo Costa. A series of second-half substitutions sapped the games fluency. The Portuguese dominated possession but couldnt break down the solid Greek defence. Hugo Almeida found Nani unmarked on the right of the Greek penalty area in the 67th but the winger took too long to set up his shot. In the final minutes, Giorgos Karagounis slammed a close-range shot against goalkeeper Betos legs. Stan Smith Outlet Italia . Top-seeded Djokovic, who is making only his second appearance this year after reaching the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, was a 6-3, 6-3 winner over 54th-ranked Istomin of Uzbekistan. Ribery terrorized the Schalke defence throughout and put the home side ahead in the 36th minute when he chipped the goalkeeper before stroking the ball into the empty net. The amateur from Smiths Falls, Ont., is well aware of the high expectations that come from finishing in the top 10 at a major tournament and emerging as the best young Canadian womens golfer. "I see the pressure and I hear it," Henderson said. "I hear that Im the face of Canadian golf, but Im just trying to improve and trying to get better." Henderson doesnt seem to be buying into the hype that she has created for herself. With Lorie Kane about to turn 50, shes considered the future of the sport in Canada, even with Alena Sharp, Sue Kim, Jennifer Kirby and Rebecca Lee-Bentham already established on the LPGA Tour. She goes into this weeks Canadian Pacific Womens Open at London Hunt and Country Club with all that perspective to go with her experience. Henderson missed the cut the past two years in Edmonton and Vancouver and understands what its all about this time, playing about a seven-hour drive from where she grew up. "Definitely there is pressure," Henderson said. "But Im excited to be able to play for my family and friends and show them what I can do. Theyre out there cheering for me, and I know every shot theyre going to be happy either way." Henderson set her expectation at making the cut and then "hopefully climb up the leader board a little bit." Thats a realistic goal two weeks after she finished second to Kristen Gillman at the U.S. Womens Amateur. But this is a different animal for Henderson as the home-country girl whos blossoming into a star. On her way from the putting green to the driving range on Wednesday, several fans stopped her for autographs, photos and or just to chat. When she tees off just before 8:30 a.m. for Thursdays first round, Henderson will get to focus in on just golf. Her caddy, longtime family friend Bunk Lee, will do his part to keep Henderson focused. "I think Brooke is very good at relaxing herself," Lee said. "Shes been exposed to this enough, and she takes care of most of it. Im just there for reassurance and making sure Im doing my job as the caddy and trying to provide the best environment for her to perform in and it all takes care of itself." Kane recalled being overwhelmed at times during her first appearances at the Canadian Womens Open -- then called the du Maurier Classic -- worried that she couldnt live up to external expectations. The four-time champion on the LPGA Tour said she has no doubt Henderson is prepared for the atmosphere shes about to face and the future shes embarking on. "Brooke, shes hard-working, very dedicated to what she does," Kane said in a phone interview last week. "Brookes career can be what Brrooke wants it to be. Scarpe Stan Smith Scontate. . The skys the limit. Shes got a great head on her shoulders, shes a very level-headed kid." That came across Wednesday in her pre-tournament news conference during which she fielded a handful of questions about her place in history and the hefty weight on her young shoulders. In the short-term -- the next few days -- Henderson expects to feel more comfortable now that she has gotten to know more professional colleagues and what to expect. In the long term, Henderson doesnt consider herself standing alone as Canadas only hope in womens golf. "Definitely I think the game in Canada is growing, and there are some young pros coming up like Sue Kim, and Jennifer Kirby and Rebecca Lee-Bentham that are great players and have full status on the tour this year," she said. "Maybe they havent played as well as they would have liked, but I think the future is bright for them." It could be even brighter for Henderson if she continues down her developmental path. Golf Canadas Brent McLaughlin said just like with mens golfer Mike Weir, Canadian fans "need to rally around heroes" and considers Henderson one of those. "Were so proud of Brooke. ... Any time you see young talents just excel, youre proud of them," McLaughlin said on a conference call last week. "(Fans) need to have a reason to watch. ... It makes kids want to be like them. We need that in our sport. Weve very fortunate, very lucky and very proud." Henderson is one of 15 Canadians in the field this week, along with pros Kane, Sharp, Lee-Bentham, Kirby, Kim, Maude-Aimee LeBlanc, Sara-Maude Juneau, Samantha Richdale, Nicole Vandermade, Natalie Gleadall, Erica Rivard, Jessica Wallace and fellow amateurs Jennifer Ha and Elizabeth Tong. No Canadian woman has won this tournament since Jocelyne Bourassa captured the title at the inaugural edition in 1973. For 22 years from 1979 through 2000 it was a major, and it still carries that importance to Henderson. "It used to be a major back in the day, and to me it still is one," she said. "Its very close to home. Its our national championship." New Zealands Lydia Ko, at 17 a two-time defending champion at Canadas national championship, knows from experience that Henderson has had to repeatedly answer the question about when shes turning pro. Henderson said Wednesday its still her plan to attend the University of Florida with the hope of having an LPGA Tour career in the future. That means for now Henderson is one of the faces of amateur womens golf, something she has accepted. "Of course there is a little bit of pressure, but I enjoy it," Henderson said. It was my fifth straight year attending and, as always, there are many interesting matters discussed as it pertains to the use of statistics in sports. JOHANNESBURG, South Africa -- Prosecutors and lawyers for Oscar Pistorius have one last chance to convince a South African judge when they present closing arguments this week in the murder trial of the once-celebrated athlete who fatally shot his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, through a toilet cubicle door in his home. On Thursday and Friday, both sides will summarize their versions of the shooting to Thokozile Masipa, the red-robed judge who will determine the fate of the double-amputee Olympic runner. Masipa has sat impassively through most proceedings since the globally televised trial began four months ago in a Pretoria courthouse, but legal experts say she may now, in this final stage, reveal insights into her thinking about the sensational case. "The judge will show where her allegiance lies once she starts asking questions," said Marius du Toit, a former prosecutor and now defence lawyer who is not involved in the trial. "The party that gets hammered by the judge when arguing is the party thats got the short end of the stick when it comes to the ruling." Masipa can interrogate prosecutor Gerrie Nel and chief defence lawyer Barry Roux on their explanations for the killing and evidence in the court record, which amounts to thousands of pages. The prosecution says Pistorius, 27, intentionally shot 29-year-old Steenkamp multiple times before dawn on Feb. 14, 2013 in a fit of anger after a fight. The defence counters that he fired by mistake, fearing for his life after thinking an intruder was in the toilet cubicle and Steenkamp was in the bedroom. Masipa has maintained an air of neutrality while overlooking the courtroom from her chair on a dais through weeks of testimony by dozens of witnesses. "Now the judges true colours will in fact be shown," said John Welch, a former high-ranking lawyer with South Africas national prosecutors office. "Many judges like to ask questions ... things that have bugged them or bothered them during the trial." Because South Africa has no trial by jury, Masipa will decide with tthe help of two legal assistants if Pistorius committed murder, is guilty of a negligent killing, or if he made a tragic error and should be acquitted. Cheap Adidas Superstar China. The runner faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted of premeditated murder, and also would be sent to prison for years if guilty of murder without premeditation or culpable homicide. He faces three separate firearm charges, and pleaded not guilty to all four counts. The prosecution has accused Pistorius of being a hot-headed egotist who carried a gun everywhere he went, and alleges he twice shot a firearm in public before the Valentines Day killing. Pistorius defence has portrayed him as mentally fragile, a disabled man who lived in fear of crime and who was terrified when he stood on just his stumps in the dark and fired four shots into the toilet cubicle door. Before he killed Steenkamp, Pistorius was praised worldwide as a symbol of the triumph of determination over adversity, and he made history by running on his carbon-fiber running blades at the Olympics in 2012. Trial witnesses included Pistorius neighbours, friends, an ex-girlfriend, his agent and his physician, as well as a long list of forensic and ballistic specialists. At times, Pistorius vomited, wailed and sobbed in the courtroom, and a psychiatrist testified he was suffering from an anxiety disorder when he shot Steenkamp. The trial was postponed for a month while Pistorius was examined at a state mental facility. Masipa will adjourn the trial after arguments to consider her judgment, a delay that could be a week or over a month, according to various analysts. They say the burden is on the prosecution to leave no reasonable doubt in Masipas mind that Pistorius was intent on killing when he opened fire. Nel and Roux will have to summarize weeks of sometimes complex testimony into a convincing final explanation lasting just a few hours, according to former prosecutor Welch. He said: "A true lawyer is measured during the arguments because this is now when we get to the nitty-gritty of the matter."
